Sister conference

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, with the love and peace of Jesus Christ!

I thank God that we live under His protection in these anxious days of war for us. The war in Ukraine has been raging for 270 days and all our people are waiting for this bloody war to end. On November 15, the enemy fired more than 100 rockets against all cities of Ukraine. They want to break the entire infrastructure of Ukraine so that we do not have electricity. Of course, it is difficult for us here because of these inconveniences, because without electricity there is no mobile communication and other communication with the people around us. On November 15 and 16, our electricity was turned off for the whole day and at night the lights were turned off 2 times. But thank God that we were not bombed and so far it is quiet in our area. And in other cities of Ukraine, it is very difficult. They bomb and break, and subsequently innocent people die.

Thank God that we have people, especially believers, everyone believes that the Lord is our Savior and He will protect us from all these troubles. Yes, there is no light, but the Light of Christ burns in our hearts, in our families, in our churches and we will be able to convey this Light to people who are perishing in the darkness of sin. We always trust in the Lord and hope in Him.

1. Prayers:

-We have round-the-clock prayer groups in Bukovina and our churches of the PIEI UKR mission. They also participate in these prayers for peace in Ukraine. May the Lord hear us and help us to end this war.

-There was also a worldwide prayer of sisters on November 7, on the theme of the victorious life in Christ from 2 Corinthians 2:14. All the sisters from our Baptist brotherhood united on this day in prayer for all the people of our planet Earth.

-And on November 12, we had a sister conference on the topic: Peace in a time of war. Based on this conference, there was a verse from John 14:27. I give you my peace ...

There was a wonderful conference where almost 500 sisters from all the churches of our region participated. There were testimonies of sisters of migrants from Avdiivka, Kherson, Mariupol, and from Kharkiv. The southeast of Ukraine went through these sufferings of the war. There was a Word from the Lord, how we should be confident in the Word of the Lord and trust our God during this earthly storm, during this war. There were prayers of the sisters who prayed in tears that the Lord would protect us and our country from this war. Glory to God for such an army of sisters who pray for peace in Ukraine, for the ministers of our churches, and for the awakening to repentance of many hearts that are still lost in their sins. We all believe that the Lord will hear the prayers of our sisters and give us victory in Christ Jesus.

2. Social assistance

-In Chernivtsi, a woman with children who do not have anything to eat turned to me for help. Yesterday, November 15, I visited them and helped with the food that I took from our church in Nesvoya. I spoke to them about God and called them to repentance. They said, yes, you need to repent in order to be with God. I promised them that I would visit them again and of course I would bring food and other household necessities, but I want to explain to them more the Word of God. We pray for these people.

3. Help on the front line

-Brother Gregory Kioresko again took 2 buses with humanitarian aid to the front line, where everything is destroyed and people have no electricity, no water, no gas. We always pray for him so that the Lord will protect him on a journey that is not safe at the present time.

-Our, 8 more missionaries, also serve here, on the spot, our migrants who live among us. We try to bring them packages with essential products on time and tell them about the love of Christ. We pray for each of these migrants. We are glad that many of them these migrants visit our prayer houses and read the Bible that they received from us as a gift.

4. Session

- Conducted a session at the Bible Institute. This session was based on the Gospel of Matthew. All students studied this book with great diligence.

-The next session I will spend with them on the basis of the textbook "Names of God".

5. Thanksgiving:

-I thank God and you for your help. It helps us a lot.

-Thank you for your prayers for us. We feel your prayers and we also pray for you that the Lord bless you.

-All of our missionary wives thank Sister Martha Hauck of La Porte, Indiana for the help she has given to our missionary wives. May the Lord bless her.

-We thank the Lord for the fact that we are still calm and our region is not bombed. For the protection of God.

Prayer Needs:

-Pray for us so that the Lord will protect us further. So that we do not lose electricity, the Internet and telephone communications.

-Pray for our brother missionary Kioresco Gregory and his team, who go 2 times a month to the front lines in the cities destroyed by the war to bring humanitarian aid to people.

- So that we, the rest of the missionaries, do not get tired of helping the settlers who are with us in Bukovina.

-Pray for an end to the war in Ukraine.

We always pray and bless you brothers and sisters from the USA. May the Lord bless you a hundredfold for your sacrifice for Ukraine. Say hello to all our evangelism partners from the USA from our missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission. We love you and pray for you.

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Study Word to Church

Greetings with the love and peace of Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA!

I am very grateful to the Lord for helping me during these two weeks in preaching His Word to our land where we live and in this dangerous time for us.

-More than 250 days have already passed since a full-scale war is going on in Ukraine. During these two weeks

in Bukovina, 3 missiles from the enemy side were shot down and one exploded over the electric current distributor in the Dniester district, in the Novodniestrovskaya power plant. Restoration work is underway now. The enemy wants to leave us without electricity so that we would not have contact with each other. But we trusted our God and He will protect us from enemy missiles.

-We, the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, despite these events, continue to preach the Gospel and work with refugees from our region and with refugee families whose fathers and husbands defend Ukraine at the forefront.

1. Study Word to Church:

-To our church from Nesvoi, over the past month, I conducted 3 lessons from the book of Revelation from chapters 19 to 22 to the church, which say what will happen after Daniel's 70 weeks. Unbelievers who attend our church were also present at these lessons. We pray for them too.

2. Patient visits:

-I was invited to pray over a woman with cancer and my wife and I visited this family where we prayed that the Lord would have mercy on our sister in the Lord and that God would heal her. She cried a lot and prayed a prayer of repentance and that, if the will of the Lord, God healed her of this illness. She is 59 years old and she wants to be next to her husband and daughter's family so that they serve the Lord.

-I also visited our missionary brother Vasily Preutes. He told us about his problems and we prayed together with his family, and also praised God that God had saved their lives: his and the lives of his granddaughters Yulia and Valeria, as well as his daughter-in-law Christina. They were in the car together when this accident happened. Thank God that everyone is alive and well.

-We called our missionary Alex Pastushak to find out how he is doing. We always pray for his family and are glad that God saved their lives, Alex, Nadia and son Marik, after that terrible accident that happened to them. His leg is still in the cast and the concussion are going away a bit. Nadya can already serve her family to cook for them, thank God. We continue to pray for them.

-I visited the sick and gave them holy communion from the communion. They were glad that they could take part in holy communion and remember the suffering and death of our Savior Jesus Christ. I did this in three settlements.

3.Help those in need:

-I carried social packages with food for people in need: the sick and the displaced. They thanked and praised the Lord for not forgetting them in this difficult time through our brothers and sisters of believers.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We are very grateful to the Lord for the fact that He protected us this month from enemy missiles and we are still quiet and calm. We are glad that we can serve the Lord by helping other people who are in dire need.

-We thank the Lord for saving our brother Gregory Kioresko on the road towards Kyiv, where he, with his team, carried humanitarian aid to people who went through the suffering of this war.

-We thank the Lord for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for not forgetting us in your prayers and supporting us both materially and spiritually. Thank God that we have such brothers and sisters.

5. Prayer needs:

- Our dear ones, please pray with us for the end of the war in Ukraine. Only God can stop this terrible evil that the enemy is doing.

-Pray that they don't bomb us. They want to destroy all communications, and at the moment it is electricity. Therefore, they are trying to get where the power plants are. We believe that only God can protect us.

-Pray for our sister in the Lord, Jeta, that the Lord heal her from cancer.

-Pray for our missionaries, brother Alex Pastushak, that God will heal him further, so that he can walk normally.

-Pray also for our missionary Kioresco Grigory, who will still travel to the depths of our Ukraine with humanitarian aid, closer to the front, where they are waiting for this help. That the Lord would protect him and the team from all evil and from rocket arrivals. Because there are these arrivals happen every day. May the Lord save us all from such a misfortune, because we cannot even know where such arrivals are waiting for us.

-Pray for all our missionaries so that the Lord will protect us and our families so that we can continue to work in His Field.

We always pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, that the Lord bless all of you and your families.

Praying for the PIEI America annual mission meeting in Chicago on November 4th and 5th. May the Lord bless this meeting and all the participants and missionaries who will come to this meeting. We will support you all in our prayers.

Send my heartfelt regards from me and my family to everyone I know and to whom you know us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you do for us. Be blessed!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Evangelization of people

We greet you, dear brothers and sisters, with the Love of Jesus Christ.

-I am very grateful to God for helping me to carry out the ministry in His Field with great success.

1.Evangelization of people:

-We organized in the church of the village of Balkovtsy (our neighbouring village), the holiday of the Harvest. On this holiday, our youth choir glorified God and I preached the main sermon. We have been supporting this church even further since the pastor of the church and his family went abroad during the time of war. I wrote above that I had great success in evangelizing this small church because that day the church was filled with unbelievers. Three of them said they wanted to become believers, because when they listened to the youth choir, they told us, that they felt as if they were in paradise. We thank God for the fact that He worked so wonderfully on the hearts of these people. We rejoice that they continue to attend the church regularly since then and pray for them. The ministers of our church from Nesvoia support this small church by visiting them and strengthening them in the Word.

2. Session at the Bible Institute:

-I taught the students of the Bible Institute, Matthew, part 2. In the middle of the session, we all organized mini-evangelizations among the people we met in the streets around the city. The students practiced what they learnt and told people about what is written in Mathew part 2. It is very interesting in our time that we have not met such people who do not want to study or listen to the Word of God. We gave them addresses so that they could continue this study.

3.News from our missionaries:

-Unfortunately, not everything is so smooth and good for our missionaries. There are illnesses and other difficulties.

-Last week, our missionary brother Alex Pastushak had a car accident. He was driving with his family to the village where his parents once lived when another car hit them badly. Thank God that everything is fine with their son Mark, but Alex has a fractured left leg and both Alex and Nadia have a concussion. Yesterday, on Thursday, they were discharged from the hospital. Nadia's knees hurt a lot. And Alex was put in a cast on his leg. Thank God that they are already on the mend. The car was severely smashed, but Thank God that they survived.

- The family of the missionary Preutesa Vasily also got into a car accident a week earlier when the accident happened to Alex. The car of the missionary Preutesa was badly smashed in the back. Brother Vasily was slightly hurt, but the granddaughters, Julia, Valeriia and his daughter-in-law Christina, who were in the car, thank God are fine.

4. Social assistance to refugees.

- Our missionary brother, Grigory Kioresko, carried twice, humanitarian aid for people affected by this war in Kyiv, in Gostomel, in Bucha and in Irpin. These people are in great need of food and they are very happy and thankful when our brothers, help them getting everything they need.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We are grateful to God for our missionaries Alex Pastushak and his family, and Vasily Preutesa with his family for staying alive after such severe accidents.

-We are very grateful to God and you, for your prayers and for your help, which gives us strength to serve and help more the refugees who stay here and live among us.

-We are grateful to God that God protected our missionary brother Grisha Kioresko and he was able to go many times to the places where the war caused great destruction, and brought food and humanitarian aid there. Now it is very dangerous to go there because missiles often fly in from the enemy side. Although the Chernovtsy region has not been bombed yet, (the only region which wasn’t attacked by rockets since the beginning of the war) three missiles have already been fired near Chernivtsi. Thank God! We live only by His grace.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray for missionary Alex Pastushak and for his family that God will give them a full recovery.

-Pray for the missionary Vasily Preutesa that he will also get out of this crisis situation. His car was badly damaged.

-Pray for the missionary Kioresco Grigory, so that when he goes to bring humanitarian aid in the areas affected by the war, that the Lord will protect him on the road and during his stay there, among those people.

-Pray for all our missionaries who decided to stay here to serve God and people in such a difficult time for us, when the war is going on throughout Ukraine. Pray so that we can help the refugees who stay here to spend the winter with us with all our love and patience.

-Pray that the arrivals of the enemy missiles that want to destroy everything in Ukraine will stop. Pray for peace in our region so that we can serve people in need.

We always pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA. Thank you for your love towards us and for your help. May the Lord fill all your needs and return you a hundredfold everything that you have sacrificed for us. Be blessed!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa

The Annual Report of the PIEI Ukraine National Ministry  for the Year 2022

1. Repentance and Baptisms:

- Year 2022 was a difficult year for our ministry, difficult for the whole country of Ukraine, because on February 24, 2022 the war with Russia started in Ukraine. Despite all the circumstances, the Lord helped us because, following the work of the 9 missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission, 250 people were already converted and 33 people received the New Testimonial baptism - praise God for these spiritual fruits!

2. The work at the Biblical Theological Institute:

- This year, 6 sessions were taught at the Institute. Through these sessions we prepare new disciples for God`s work in Ukraine. 50 students who studied the Bible participated in these sessions.

3. Camps:

- During this war in Ukraine, the government forbade everybody to organize camps, so to hold the traditional PIEI youth camp we changed it in the documents as 5 days seminars. – Thus, 150 young people and children (70 % of the young people were from unbelieving families) could come to the PIEI youth camp and 56 of whom repented - Glory be to God.

- Each missionary from the PIEI Ukraine mission organized VBSs for children in their local churches, where 460 children and adolescents participated. Among the local children many of the refugee’s children who live in those localities also went to the VBS.

4. Work with orphans:

- Right from the beginning of the year, in January, we organized the Orphan`s Christmas celebration for the orphaned children. We gathered 200 orphaned children, we fed them and he gave them 200 gifts of sweets and fruits.

- During the year, 2 meetings were held with these children, where they were fed well and again, received gifts.

5. Work with Refugees:

- Right from the beginning of the war, the PIEI  Ukraine missionaries worked a lot on the distribution of refugees coming from the North, East, and South of Ukraine, to our region  in the West of Ukraine. We have been feeding them and finding them shelters. We gave them shelter in local houses, in churches, schools, and even our own homes. Throughout these 7 months of war we tried to help them with food, clothing, shoes, toys, school supplies, etc. items that we have been receiving abundantly from our missionary brothers from the PIEI Romania mission. They visited us several times with vans loaded with humanitarian aid for the refugees.

- Now we are trying to find houses that have heating for the refugees so that they can live in warmth, because winter is approaching.

6. Help for soldiers who are fighting and for the people who need help:

- The PIEI Ukraine missionaries   took many buses loaded with food products for the people who stayed in the cities where battles are held and who couldn’t flee. (in the cities such as Irpini, Bucea, Borodeanca). Even now, in September, they took a van overloaded with food to Gostomel - a town below Kyiv that suffered a lot as a result of this war.

7. Evangelism:

- This summer the Lord helped us a lot so that a group of brothers and sisters from a church in Indiana, USA came to minister with us in Ukraine on a short term mission trip. And despite the war, many evangelizations were held among the refugee s in our parts and especially with the refugees in the following localities: the city of Czernowitz, the villages of Dinautsi, Rakitna, Tarasautsi, Noua  Sulitsa, Cotileu, Nesvoia.

- We did these evangelistic meetings, together with the team from the USA, home visits in the homes where the non-Christian refugees live. There were also people who repented. Also, we held meetings with the families of those soldiers who fought in the front line of the war. We prayed with them, we gave them food, aid and promised them that we will continue to pray for them and take care of them.

– We also had meetings with the soldiers who serve our country and went to fight in the war. We supplied each soldier with bulletproof vests, where we put a New Testament on each of them and covered them with prayer. We also gave each soldier first aid kits. We had a meeting with 100 soldiers and we are preparing to do more meetings with God’s help.

8. The Work on Radio Bucovina:

- We have 2 missionaries in the PIEI Ukraine ministry who hold broadcasts on radio Bucovina. Through their radio programs, they encourage all the inhabitants of the Czernowitz region, even the refugees who live in our region.

9. Thanks:

- We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your prayers, for the prayer groups that pray unceasingly for Ukraine, for the prayers of the churches in the USA because you are constantly praying for the missionary work here, thank you for the sponsors and partners who support the missionary work in Ukraine and for the humanitarian help that you sent us at the right time so that we could serve those who are in need here, especially the refugees who live among us.

10. Prayer Requests:

·       Pray together with us, so that we can find heated houses for the refugees.

·       So that throughout the winter we have food and warm clothes for the refugees who are in the Chernivtsi region and for those on the front line.

·       To be able to organize youth and children’s camps.

·       To be able to work with orphans and the elderly.

·       For the end of the war in Ukraine.

Thanksgiving day

We greet you brothers and sisters from the USA with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I thank the Lord for blessing me throughout this month and giving me the opportunity to preach and proclaim His Word among the people who live in our area. He guarded our land from bombings and people live in peace with us.

1. Thanksgiving:

-On September 25, our church celebrated the feast of Thanksgiving to the Lord for a blessed harvest in our villages and in Western Ukraine. In the East, South and North of Ukraine there was a war and people who even sowed seeds, everything burned down. And we, those from whom the earth gave birth, should help and share with those who have such trouble. Our church is already preparing how to help and where to send help to people suffering from this war.

-On this holiday there was a rich program of youth and children in which the Name of the Lord our God was glorified. We also divided the products into bags and delivered them to the needy and sick in the village. People were very grateful to God for such kindness, Thank God!

-We also rejoiced, together with our entire church, for the repentance of one young woman (Lyudmila). She has been going to our church for a long time and on this Thanksgiving day she decided to repent. We have been praying for her for a long time and thank God that He heard our prayers. Now we pray for her husband George and for her children.

2. Social assistance.

-Also helped a family twice this month whose wife has cancer. We helped them with money and food. We pray for them and for this sister (her name is Jeta). She has just received another course of chemotherapy and is very weak. She keeps telling us that she is ready to go to God, but if the Lord wills continue her life, then she would like this. She is 59 years old. We pray for her all the time.

-We continue to help one disabled brother Dmitry in whatever he needs. We pray with him and comfort him.

-We gave literature and help to refugees who live in the village of Balkovtsy (neighboring village).

3. Breaking bread.

On October 2, we made breaking bread in the church in the village of Nesvoi and in the church in the village of Balkovtsy. We also distributed Holy Communion to the sick. They are always happy when brothers come to them with communion.

4. Meeting of the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission.

-On September 28, we had a meeting with the missionaries of the PIEI UKR mission in Novoselytsya to the Emmanuel Church, where our missionary pastor is brother Valery Popov. There, each of our missionaries gave a report on the work done for 2022. We prayed and thanked God that He is still merciful to us and prolongs our lives so that we can serve Him with full dedication. We also thanked God for our sponsors from the USA, who constantly helped us, at this difficult time for us, and with prayers, and financially supported us so that we would continue to help other people who are in need. We prayed for our brothers and sisters from the USA that the Lord bless them with health and everything they need. We also prayed that the Lord would stop this war. Only God can stop this evil and we hope for God's mercy. Everyone of our missionaries were very happy about this meeting. We prayed for each other, encouraged each other, and blessed each other in our ministries for the next.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We are very grateful to the Lord for His mercy to us and we still have a peaceful sky (during these 7 months of the war in Ukraine we were never bombed), and for the fact that we can calmly serve the people who live near us. We are especially pleased to serve refugees and hear from them words of gratitude addressed to our God.

-We are grateful to God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for your support and for your prayers for us and for Ukraine. We feel the power of your prayer that strengthens us in ministry here, where we are at this very disturbing time for us.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray with us, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, that the war will end and that the Lord will continue to protect us from war so that we can serve the Lord by helping people in their needs.

-Pray for us, the ministers of the church, so that we can find warm homes for the migrants because winter is coming soon.

-Pray for those people who have heard the Word of God that they repent.

-Pray for those soldiers who are on the front line defending Ukraine, that the Lord will protect them.

-Pray that the Lord will give me health to serve Him.

And we always pray for you, dear brothers and sisters, that the Lord bless you, your families, your churches and your country.

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Ordination of new deacons

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord!

Gospel for unbelievers:

-I am grateful to God for helping me to serve unbelieving people, so that they could learn more about Jesus Christ and His love.

1. In the Nesvoi church, we held 2 evangelizations at which we glorified God through the singing of our choir and youth choir. There were many unbelievers at these evangelizations, and at the end of the meeting one young girl repented - Glory to God. Then I realized that if you sow the seed of God, it does not return without fruit.

2. In 3 churches: the Nesvoi Church, the Bolkovets Church and in the Podvirnyanskaya Church, I held communions, due to the fact that there are temporarily no ministers there. There were 2 unbelievers in the Podvirnyanskaya church, of which one soul repented - Thank God! The other does not yet dare to accept Christ in the heart but we pray for this soul.

-I spent these services for 2 weeks, because their ministers were: one was sick, and the other went abroad with his family.

-I was invited to preach at a funeral in Balkovtsy where one sister passed away. Her children were unbelievers. They thanked us 3 preachers and our choir for actively participating in this funeral of our sister in the Lord. There were about 100 people present and half of them were unbelievers. Everyone listened attentively to the Word of God. One person, after this funeral, visits the prayer house. We pray for these people and for this village so that the Lord tests their hearts for repentance.

3. Together with the brothers from the Baptist association, we were at the ordination of 2 deacons in the church of Dinivtsi. Their names are: brother Leonid Paskar (brother of pastor Alex Paskar), they work with his wife and lead the church choir, have 6 children; and brother Veniamin Chupak, a youth leader, also work together with his wife with teenagers from the church. He has 6 children. At this service there were many unbelievers who listened to the Word of God attentively.

4. I conduct Bible lessons at the Bible Institute. I have classes with volunteers from many churches. In one of the churches, I taught classes from the lecture of the book "Marriage Without Regret." These classes were attended by 150 young families and youth. I taught these classes at the request of the young people present.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray, together with us, that the Lord would give me strength and wisdom, so that I could teach Bible lessons in churches in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

-Pray for these 2 deacons from the church in Dinivtsi whom we ordained to work in the Power of the Holy Spirit.

-For those who repented at the evangelizations who were led to make a covenant with Jesus Christ through water baptism.

- So that we do not get tired of helping refugees in all respects: morally, spiritually and materially.

-To end the war and bring peace to Ukraine.

-So that all the people who listened to the Word of God preached this month, may this Word be for their repentance.

6.Thanksgiving:

-We are grateful to you, brothers and sisters from the PIEI mission, for supporting us missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission, both spiritually in your prayers for us, and financially so that we can work here and help other people who need help.

-We are grateful to God that our region, Chernivtsi, has not yet been bombed and so far it is quiet here. We pray to God that he will continue to give peace to our region so that we can work calmly and sow the word of God among people.

-And we pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, that the Lord bless your work of donation for Ukraine. May God bless your families, your church and your country with peace and health. We always thank God for you. Be blessed!

With love, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Testimonies of children

We greet you with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, as we wrote to you in the previous report about our youth Christian camp "Candela" which we held with God's help from August 1 to 6 in Boyany, almost 60 children, teenagers, and youth repented there and now we want to write briefly a few testimonies of these children.

1. George Troyan, 15 years old, the village of Malinovka (from an unbelieving family):

-I am very grateful to God that I had invitations to be in this Christian camp. For me, this is the first time to be in such a wonderful camp. I really liked the Word of God. I studied the messages from James. This is just about our time. Nobody knows what awaits us tomorrow. The main thing is that we are reconciled with God. I understood this and Jesus helped me to come out and repent. I should be a light further for my friends, for my parents. Help me, Lord! Thank you for everything you have done for us. Bless you!

2. Edgar, 16 years old, in the village of Malinovka (father is an alcoholic):

-It was my first time in a Christian camp. And thank you. I liked everything about this camp. My parents are unbelievers, my father has problems with alcohol and I don't like the life that my parents lead. I then learned that there is another life - bright, kind, divine. And the Word of God can set you free. Christ frees everyone who comes to Him with faith and repentance. I learned this in this camp and accepted Christ in my heart - Glory to God. I pray to God that He will give me patience and wisdom on how to be a real Christian. Thank you all for such a wonderful camp.

3. Artur Tkachuk, 18 years old, Malinovka village.

-I am from a believing family and I kind of repented earlier in the meetings, but that repentance was not real. Only in this camp, I felt how the Holy Spirit touched my heart after the sermon of brother Will from the USA, I decided to seriously give my heart to Jesus Christ. Then I just raised my hand and when there was a general camp call to repentance on Friday evening, I was one of the first to come forward to confess my sins before the Lord and to accept Christ in my heart. And then on Sunday, I went out in front of our church so that the church would know about my decision and pray for me. Thank God for accepting invitations to this camp. Thanks to all the sponsors for sponsoring this camp. It's worth it. So many souls have gained Christ during these 5 days of the camp - Thank God!

4. Stephania, 15 years old, Forosna village.

- I am very grateful to God that I ended up in this camp. I really liked everything in this camp. At home, I live only with my mother and my younger sister. We go to meetings in Forosna, but I have never felt the call of Christ so close to my heart. Every day we stayed in reading the Word and in prayer with the very morning, then studied the Word from the message of St. James. Yes, indeed, the Word of God sets us free. I liked the games and swimming in the pool, and the worship evenings. My mother was very happy about my decision. God help me to carry this faith in my heart until the end of my life.

5. Vlada, 14 years old, Zhilovka village.

-Thank you for inviting me to this wonderful camp! My parents are believers, and when they heard that there was a youth camp in Boyany, they immediately tried to get a ticket for me. And I am very glad that I was in this camp. I cannot describe my feelings of gratitude to everyone who was next to me: both my leader and teacher, Pastor Pavel, and my peers who were with me in the camp. I really liked the Word of God in the group in which I studied the Epistles of Apostle James. I thank and praise God for the fact that the Holy Spirit revealed to me eyes and heart so that I decide to accept Christ and repent. And my friend and I decided to repent. After prayer, we wept with joy that we had acquired the salvation of our souls. God help me to be a true Christian!

6. Kiril, 14 years old (immigrant from Kherson).

-I am grateful to the leader Tatyana for giving me a ticket to this Christian camp. My parents are unbelievers and we live with them and my younger brother in Nesvoi, they gave us a house where to live, because we lost our house because of the war. People from this village and people who go to the Baptist church help us a lot, with various products and other help that is necessary for us. I really liked this camp. It was my first time in such a camp. I went to the lessons of pastor Pavel where he taught these lessons in such an accessible way for us. It was the first time I held a Bible in my hands. The leader helped me figure out how to look for books in the Bible and the New Testament, and in the Old Testament. It was very difficult for me from the beginning. And then I got used to it. And I got a taste for reading the Word. When brother Will from the USA was preaching, I realized that I need to choose Jesus in my life. And I chose Jesus as my Savior. May God help me to follow the true path to the end with faith and love. Thank you for the camp. This is a great gift for me - thank God!

7. Alina, 18 years old, the village of Nesvoya (parents are unbelievers).

-Thank you for inviting me to the Candela camp. This is my first time in such a camp and I liked being in it. It’s a pity that we spent only 5 days. My parents are unbelievers, divorced, and now I live only with my grandmother on my father’s side. My father did not want to let me go to this camp, saying that I should not leave my grandmother at home alone, and my grandmother is a believer and really wanted me to go to this camp. There she was left to help her daughter, who is older than my father and lives there not far from her, in the neighborhood. So I ended up in the camp. It was very good. I realized that I had to repent and made the right decision for myself on Friday, August 5. I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart. Thank God and thank you all for the camp!

8. Erika, 15 years old, Chisinau, Moldova.

-I was just visiting with my cousin in Ukraine and we heard about this Christian camp. We immediately asked to be given 2 vouchers. I really liked the camp. Everything was good here both for relaxation and for studying the Word of the Gospel. And in the end, the Lord through the Holy Spirit knocked on my heart and I accepted Him as a personal Savior in my heart, Glory to Him! I went home happy and saved. Parents are also happy for me because they are believers. Thank you all. It was a great camp.

9. Elizaveta, 13 years old, a migrant from the village of Avdeevka, Donetsk region.

- Thank you for this wonderful camp. My parents and I now live in Novoselitsa. We are immigrants from the Donetsk region. We don't even have a Bible at home. We were given here in the meeting. And in the camp pastor, Pavel gave me a Bible. I didn't even know how to read the Bible. Thanks to our leader Alina, we began to understand how to look for places from the Bible. We are 3 migrants from different cities in Ukraine and we lived in the same room where the leader Alina was a class leader. We spent morning classes with her and prayed together. And she helped us in the lessons. You know, I never held the Bible in my hands, and in the end of camp, I was so clear about looking for places throughout the Bible. It turns out that the Bible is the Book of Books. It is the source of the Wisdom of God. We studied the epistles of the Apostle James. What Words! They are for our days, although almost 2000 years have passed since then. These words speak of trials and temptations. Then, too, Christians wandered and fled from the persecution of Christians, but they knew what they were suffering for. And we? Yes, we ran away from our homes. Yes, we roam the world because of the war. But we did not have the most precious thing that God gave to people - the Holy Word. The Word really set me free and I realized that I needed to repent and accept Christ in my heart. And the Lord Jesus helped me take this step - Glory to Him. I believe that God will not leave me and will help me continue to live a new life - always hold on to Jesus Christ. Thank you again for your invitation to such a wonderful camp.

10. Alexandra, 12 years old, the city of Dnepropetrovsk.

- I, too, like Elizabeth, ran away with my parents from the war. Thank God we found a home here for our family. We were told about this camp and we accepted the invitation. It was very good for us. It's a pity, of course, that it was only 5 days, but anyway, thanks to all of you for such busy days. I liked the Word of God, I liked studying It. I learned a lot of things in this camp for myself. We must seek the kingdom of God first and the righteousness of God—and everything else God will take care of and give us what we need. We have already been accustomed for half a year of the war to being grateful to God for what we have. But then I realized something valuable to me. If we are not born again, we will not be able to enter the Kingdom of God. How to understand it? I had many questions like Nicodemus had once. And I asked the pastor, brother Paul, and the leaders. They tried to answer my questions. God revealed himself to me and I realized that I needed to repent. And I answered yes! - to the call of Christ. May God help me to carry this faith as a banner until the end of my days!

11. Egor, 16 years old, the village of Tarasovtsy.

-I first came to a Christian camp. And thanks to those who gave me this invitation. I didn’t even know how to behave right away, and then when I began to study the Word of God, I realized in which society I ended up. And in the end, the Word of God did its work in my heart. And I realized that I need to accept Christ in my heart and in my life. A very cool camp. Thanks to everyone who organized the camp and those who worked all the days of the camp so that we could feel good all these 5 days.

12. Emanuella, 11 years old, Mamaliga village.

-Thank you very much to everyone who organized this Christian camp. This is like a gift for me. I was in the group of teacher Tamara. The Word of God was very accessible to me. And I realized that I need to be reconciled with God. Everything was perfect in this camp, the games, the pool, and the evening worship. I really liked the fact that every evening the cameraman Alex showed us a video about our camp. Thanks to him and his wife Nadia for working all day shooting a video about us. It must be very difficult - thank you too. Thank you, teachers, thank you, leaders, thank you worship team for wonderful songs, thank you chefs for delicious food, and thank you brothers and sisters from the USA for sponsoring this camp. Thank God for everything! And most importantly this is the fact that I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart-Glory to God! Thanks again to everyone.

13. Sofia Martsinyuk, 10 years old, Mamaliga village.

-I go to this camp from an early age, because my parents work as leaders in this camp. But I realized real repentance only this year. The Lord touched my heart - Thank God! God. This work is very valuable. Thanks to our leaders. I had a great leader - may the Lord bless Christina and her family. God grant peace to Ukraine so that they can organize such Christian camps!

14. Melentiy Kostya, 13 years old, Dranitsa village.

-I liked the camp very much. Thank you for the invitation. I liked studying the Word of God with teacher Kioresko Gregory. There we studied the heroes of faith from the letter of the Apostle Paul to the Hebrews. I thought how before, in difficult conditions, believers served the Living God. But now ... yes, we have a war, it’s hard for displaced people, but in Bukovina, thank God, it’s quiet and calm. God has mercy on us. And people seem to be indifferent to the love of Christ. Yes, all of Ukraine prays even on their knees ... but they don’t accept Christ at all in their hearts. I realized in this camp that I need to seriously improve my relationship with God through the blood of Jesus Christ, which washes us from all sin. I am very grateful to God for the fact that He helped me to get out and repent. Thank you very much for a wonderful camp!

15. Maxim, 13 years old, the village of Tarasovtsy

- This is the first time I have been to such a camp. I really liked the Christian camp. I did not think that by studying the Word of God I would also like all this. But indeed God is Omnipotent and can change hardened hearts. Everything was top-notch in this camp. I even forgot how to say obscene words. I was just ashamed to say that being among the believers. And then the Word of God did its work in my heart and I repented. Help me God to keep this faith in You to the end! Thank you all for the camp!

16. Nastya, 13 years old, the city of Novoselitsa.

-I really liked this camp. First of all, I had a very good leader, Alina, who studied with us and showed us how to look for places from the Bible. I have never held a Bible in my hands - this is the first time in this camp. We have every morning there was a prayer and classes on the book of James from the New Testament. Then there were also classes on the books of Jacob in the lessons. And this helped me a lot to understand this book from the New Testament more deeply. Then I even answered boldly the teacher's questions. I never thought that this would happen to me. Yes, God is great in His grace and love for people. I had to come here so that I could find the Salvation of my soul. I pray that the Lord will help me on this path of faith. Thank you all for the invitations to the camp, and for organizing and sponsoring these beautiful camps! Thanks to all the leaders. Oh, it's a pity that it was only 5 days! Thanks to Sasha and Nadia for the wonderful video! God bless you all!

17. Bogachuk Marius 14 years old

-Thank you all for the camp. Everything was great. I understood the Word of God, which all the time reminded me that the Lord loves all of us and wants us to truly worship Him in Spirit and Truth. How wonderful it is to be in the Word all the time! It frees us from all unnecessary that surrounds us. I studied about the heroes of faith. Excellent lessons. The Holy Spirit prompted me to repent. And I went out and repented-Glory to God. May the Lord bless you all Amen!

Here are some testimonies of those teenagers and young men who repented in our camp - Thank God. And the parents of these children call us and thank us. They said they would pray for all of us. Of course, we told them that without the sponsorship of our brothers and sisters from the USA, we would not have been able to organize such a large camp. They also thanked you, our dear ones from the USA, for your donations. We are glad to hear good reviews about our camp. But glory belongs only to God. We are only instruments in the hands of the Lord, and God is Omnipotent and works through us, weak people, so that only God would be glorified - Glory to Him for everything! That's why we say like Apostle Paul in Philippians - I can do everything in Jesus Christ who strengthens me. (Phil. 4:13)

And thank you all for praying for us. We felt it. And thank God for such success! Thank God that there was a peaceful sky above us! Thank God that in our Bukovina everything is quiet and calm, although we were a little worried, there was still a war in our country. And the Lord had mercy on us - Glory to Him for everything!

Keep praying for Ukraine. So that the war in Ukraine ends. So that these children who repented in the camp could serve God through their lives. Pray for us servants, so that the Lord strengthens us in serving the Lord.

We pray for you that God bless you all with His blessings!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Camp Candela brought some fruits

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of Jesus Christ!

Last week, from August 1 to August 6, as you already know, in Boyany, a Christian youth camp Non Stop "Candela" was held. With God's help, this camp was held, which was attended by 150 children, adolescents and youth, along with 22 leaders and 3 teachers, and also Brother Cornel Stef from the USA, Brother Pastor Will from the USA, and Brother Mark from England. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and your financial help to make this camp possible for us.

The camp was divided into 3 groups, by age:

The first group consisted of teenagers and young people. From 13 to 18 years old. There were 40 teenagers and youth of 17-18 years old. They studied in the group of the teacher pastor Pavel Petikhachny. They studied the Book of the Apostle James from the New Testament. Thank God for the fact that children from this group both from believing families and from unbelieving people repented. We are especially happy for the children from the migrants who were with us in the camp. We are glad that they understood the Word of God and responded to the call of Christ with repentance. Brother Pavel's group taught lectures in Russian so that it would be understandable to Russian-speaking children and even Ukrainian-speaking children, because both languages are understood in Ukraine. Also, 2 days in a row for one hour, in the mornings, brother pastor Will from the USA and brother Mark from England spoke to these children. The translation in this group was into Ukrainian and our missionary brother Alex Pastushak translated them. In the evenings in the Worship program in the camp Brother Will also preached two evenings in a row, on Wednesday and Thursday - Thank God. There were children who repented at his sermon. They went out to repentance on Friday evening when there was a general call to repentance. So about 60 children, teenagers and young men repented in general - Thank God! Of the 120 vacationers, half of them repented. May God help them to keep the path of faith until the end of their days! We pray for them.

The second group was also made up of teenagers and young people from 13 to 18 years old. They studied with the teacher pastor Gregory Kioresko. There were 40 students there. They were lectured on the heroes of faith in Hebrews 13. There were very interesting classes and they were held in Romanian. Because these children are from the Romanian villages of our Chernivtsi region. Thank God that many teenagers and young men from this group repented. Here, brothers from America also spent two days of 1 hour classes and they were translated Romanian by our translator Alina Marcinyuk.

The third group, the youngest, was also created from 40 children. Children from 10 to 12 years old. There were few children 7 and 8 years old. These are the children of our leaders and missionaries. They were very interested in the lessons of teacher Tamara Bozdugan. They had games and applications, as well as lessons from Bible stories. Thank God that almost all of these children came to repentance.

We will then write to you the testimonies of children and adolescents who repented in our camp. We are just waiting for all the leaders to give us the necessary information about these souls that repented.

All vacationers really liked this camp. We praise God for protecting us all during this difficult time of the war in Ukraine. We were very worried about each child and were very worried about the brothers who came to us from America. Thank God that he gave us, on the territory of our region, a peaceful sky! There, in the camp, everything was interesting, different games, sports, swimming in the pool. They didn’t allow us only to make an evening fire because of this war. But this is not important. Important that we spent these 5 days in a very interesting way for the children and for the benefit of them too. Many of them have acquired Salvation for their souls - Praise God!

We are grateful to God for our leaders who have worked very fruitfully in this camp. May the Lord bless them. For the worship group, thank them and God! God bless you!

We are also grateful for the family of Pastushak Alex and Nadia, who translated the brothers from the USA, filmed the entire camp on video - thank you for this valuable work. May the Lord bless them. We also thank God for our 3 teachers who worked fruitfully and sowed the Word of God among these children. May the Lord bless all those who worked in this camp!

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Brother Cornel Steph, President of the PIEI mission. He came by car from Rumunia, accompanied by brothers Will from the USA and brother Mark from England. They fruitfully worked sowing the Word of God both among the children in the camp and among the refugees in Chernivtsi, Novoselitsa, Dinivtsi and Tarasovtsy. 15 refugees also live in the camp there, and these brothers had conversations with them. These people are very grateful that our brothers found time for them to listen to their pain, their wanderings and their suffering. Brother Cornell has not been at home in the family for a whole month , in the USA, but worked for a whole month, both in Ukraine and in Romania. We pray that the Lord bless the path of these brothers home.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the fact that you, brothers and sisters from the USA, helped us and sponsored this camp, because all our prices jumped terribly up during this difficult time for Ukraine and it would be difficult for children to pay such an amount.

With a prayer of gratitude, we ask the Lord for all the blessings for you. May God bless you a hundredfold!

We continue to pray for all the resting children who were in our camp. This year there were more than half of the children from unbelieving families. We pray for those who repented, and for those who have not yet had the courage to come forward to repentance. We know that the Word sown will not be return without fruit. We believe that the Lord will work in the hearts of these children - Glory to Him for everything!

Thank you again for everything, be blessed!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Social assistance

Greetings, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA, with the love and peace of our Jesus Christ!

We are very grateful to God for His love and mercy to us, for the fact that He gives us calm and peace in our Chernivtsi region. Thanks to this, we can still move around and help others in need with humanitarian assistance, and most importantly, we have the opportunity to tell people about Jesus Christ.

1.Social assistance.

-After July 5, when we saw off a team from the USA who visited us and we, together with them, proclaimed Jesus Christ among the settlers, then the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission continue to work among our refugees who live among us. 4 day children's camps were held where they rested and children of immigrants (Novoselitsa, Tarasovtsy, Kotilev and Balkovtsy) - Thank God!

-We visited 4 villages and distributed humanitarian products among the settlers, and also in the church of the village of Povirnoye held a meal on July 10. There, one woman repented in the church and asks us to prepare baptisms for her. We pray for her.

-We also visited one disabled brother whose wife recently died and he was left alone. We often visit him and help in any way we can. And most importantly, we console him through the Word of the Gospel. We pray for him. His name is Dmitry Bodian.

2. I had 10 days of ZUM classes with other teachers from all over Europe, according to the book of Matthew. Based on this book, we want to create a group for classes among young people in our churches.

3.Thanks:

- From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you, brothers and sisters, for your prayers for us and our Ukraine, for your social assistance, which we can distribute to those who need it.

4. Prayer needs:

-To have a peaceful sky over our area.

-To end the war.

And we pray for you, brothers and sisters, and always thank the Lord for having you with us. May the Lord bless your work, which is very valuable in our eyes here in Ukraine, and in the eyes of God your work is simply precious. A great reward awaits you in heaven, let us all rejoice and glorify the Lord!

Say hello to everyone from our family. With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Ministry with the team from USA

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of Jesus Christ!

We are very grateful to God for the fact that this month he led us with His Wonderful Hand and we were able to preach His Word among the refugee people, together with a team of brothers and sisters from the USA.

1. Evangelism in refugee homes:

-June 29, with God's help and thanks to the prayers of your and our churches, a team of 7 people from the USA, Indiana, La Porte, led by brother Cornel Steph, President of the PIEI mission, arrived in Ukraine, in our Bukovina. they also brought us humanitarian aid (products) so that we could get this help to displaced people and poor people from our region.

We had a special program for this team, for every day, in all our villages of the Novoseletsky district, and in the city of Chernivtsi, to visit refugees from North-Eastern Ukraine in their homes where they temporarily live. The team was divided into 3 groups and within 5 days visited the refugees before lunch and after lunch. And in Martha's group, Sarah and Elizabeth organized a children's program from 15:00 to 17:00, where Sarah and Elizabeth worked with these children. They had 4 meetings with children from different villages in Bukovina: In Tarasovtsy, in Kotilevo, in Rokitne and in Novoselitsa. The children really liked this program. The children invited these sisters to come to us. Also sister Marta, a very energetic sister. She had a conversation with different refugees. waiting for some consolation in their troubles. They had different questions. Why, why and how should we go further? We talked with these people for a very long time. Sister Martha and Sarah, and Elizabeth helped us a lot. Also, pastors from these churches were with us and with the help of the Bible and the Holy Spirit we gave answers to these people. Together we prayed for them. We gave them packages with food and also gave everyone a book of the New Testament so that they themselves read and study the Word of God. Many of these refugees who were visited by us came to the meeting on Sunday. everyone was invited to our churches for Sunday service. One woman during our visits, repented, her name is Valentina. She also came to the church in Kotilevo on Sunday and went out in front of the church and wept that she could not repent earlier. Because the Lord blessed her with a good husband and beautiful 3 children, but she did not fulfill the will of the Lord and asked for forgiveness, with tears, from God. She prayed for her husband Fedor so that he would repent.

On Sunday, July 3, and in our church in the village of Nesvoya, our guests br. Kornel Stef, pastor Kevin Cram, sister Martha Hauch, Sarah Stef and Elizabeth Trowbridge also visited our church, where we had a wonderful fellowship around the Word of God .Our guests Brother Cornell and Pastor Kevin had sermons to instruct our church. There were also unbelievers in our service who listened attentively to the Word. We pray for them that the Holy Spirit will test their hearts and that they will repent.

Also in the afternoon we visited a church from the village of Fagadeu (Vancikauti), where we had an edifying ministry and preached pastor Kevin and brother Cornell. There were 3 unbelieving women and they really liked listening to the Word. They promised that they would come to the meeting.

On July 4, we met with the entire team from the USA in Novoselitsa, at the Emmanuel Church, where the pastor, missionary br. Popov Valery. All our missionaries with their families and a team of missionaries from the USA had a wonderful meeting there. They prayed that the Lord, through the Holy Spirit, would continue the work of awakening to repentance in the hearts of these people who heard the Word of God. Also, the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission thanked our brothers and sisters from the US team, Indiana, for their visit to us. For their service and help in our ministry here in Ukraine. We had a beautiful table of love, and then we were divided into 3 groups. First a group of missionary brothers with brother Cornell, pastor Kevin and brother David, the second sister of the wife of our missionary brothers, together with sister Martha and sister Carola from the USA, and the third child and grandchildren of our missionary brothers where Sarah and Elizabeth studied with them. It was a blessed meeting and we are grateful to God and the team from the USA for all these days of fellowship that we had and for their ministry here between us.

On July 5 in the morning, we gathered again in Novoselitsa, and handed over our brothers and sisters from the USA in the hands of Almighty God and accompanied the team from the USA to the border with Romania. We are very grateful to God for helping them cross the border safely and they safely reached Alba Yuliya. We pray that they go safely to the USA and arrive safely each to their family. We believe that the Lord will help them in everything.

2. Gratitude.

We are very grateful to the Lord that He heard our prayers and blessed the brothers and sisters from the USA, blessed their arrival to us, their stay among us. Although we are very anxious because of this war. The Lord protected us all_Glory to Him for everything!

-We are grateful to the Lord for humanitarian aid which was brought by a team from the USA. We carried this help and continue to carry it to the refugees and the poor who live among us. We give gum. help and at the same time we bring them the Word of God that heals the hearts of the poor, tormented and sick people.

-Thank you for your support in our ministry here in Ukraine.

3. Prayer needs:

-Pray with us that the Lord bless this work done by the US team among our refugees and children. May the Lord bless and awaken all the hearts of these people and give repentance.

-Pray for our children's camps that will be in Tarasovtsy and Kotilev from July 11th.

-Pray for our Christian youth camp, Non Stop, mission PIEI Ukraine, which will be from August 1 to August 6. For the Lord to protect us all. God grant that it will continue to be quiet so that we calmly proclaim the Word of God to these children.

-Pray for the team from the USA, which will come to Ukraine on August 1, led by brother Cornel Steph, to participate with us in the program of our camp. Pray for the teachers and leaders. Pray that the Lord will protect the team from the USA on the way to us, during your stay with us and on your way back home.

-Pray that there will be repentance among the children in the Christian camp.

And we pray for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, that the Lord bless you all and always thank the Lord for you. May the Lord bless you and give you a hundredfold blessings!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.
