Prayer meeting with sisters

We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelizing the Word of God here in Ukraine.

-I thank the Lord for His protection, which we feel every day and every hour during this difficult period of the war in our lives. For more than a year there has been a war in Ukraine, and only the Lord protects us and our region from bombing. Every day and night, sirens howl and we understand that there is a danger of rocket arrivals. Then we pray hard and believe in the protection of the Lord. In the East, North and South of Ukraine there are rockets and destruction, unfortunately, and loss of life. We pray that the Lord will console those who have lost their loved ones either through the arrival of rockets, or through the loss of soldiers who defended our borders.

1) By the grace of God, we were able to participate in Holy Communion of the Breaking of Bread in our church from Nesvoi. There, 2 more churches gathered with us: Balkovtsy and Podvirnoye. Since there is no pastor of the church in Balkovtsy and their pastor fell ill in Podvirnoye. They were brought to us by our church bus, as there are few members of the church there. They were very happy that they could, together with our church, have Holy Communion at this communion. On other Sundays, our ministers from the church go to these churches to strengthen these brothers and sisters with the Word of God.

-One sister from Podvirnoe who recently repented invited me to prepare her through the lessons for Baptism. I am glad that her husband also comes to our services. We pray for this family.

-I also performed the Breaking of Bread for 2 sick people from our church. We also prayed for them so that the Lord would heal them.

2) We organized prayers for all the sisters in all the churches of our region on Monday, March 6. The theme of the prayer is "Live worthy of God's teaching" James 2: 8. We also prayed for peace in Ukraine, supported in our prayers those who go through the loss of their loved ones. They prayed that these arrivals of missiles would stop, which not only destroy people's houses but also take human lives.

3) At the moment, all the missionaries of our PIEI Ukraine mission serve many migrants. At the beginning, we found houses for them so that they would have a place to live, helped them with clothes and food, and after that we conduct Bible lessons with them and many migrants come to these lessons.

4) In February, brother Kioresko Gregory, our missionary, brought humanitarian aid to Gostomel 2 times. Thank God there is already the Church of God there and regular services are going on. In the beginning, they preach the Word to people and then distribute humanitarian aid to them. They rejoice for the Word of God, but this help is also necessary for them.

5) Our church continues to prepare food for the soldiers on the front line. This food is very necessary for them to refresh themselves in those without conditions where they have neither electricity nor water. We also pray for these soldiers.

6) In February, I taught the lessons from the book of Daniel to the brothers who wished to study this book in more detail. After these lessons, the brothers said that they themselves would teach these lectures both in their churches and among the settlers.

7) We plan to assemble a leadership team for the Non Stop Christian summer camp in Boyany. We pray for this project, our camp, that God bless us with Peace and Health, so that we can conduct this camp blessedly and fruitfully (repentance of many young men and gain them for Christ).

8) Thanksgiving:

-We thank God for the fact that in our area, by His mercy, it is still calm and we can fruitfully serve all the needy migrants and our churches here.

-We thank the Lord for your support that you give us, from the USA and from Romania, and we can help people in need here.

-We thank God for all our missionaries who work and serve the Lord here. For the fact that the Lord gives them health and protects them from all evil.

9) Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for an end to the war.

- About the brother of the missionary Kioresko and his team, who travels 2 times a month with humanitarian help to the destroyed cities near Kiev. About the new Evangelical Church from Gostomel so that it grows in faith and love and bears the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

-Pray for all our missionaries who are working among the migrants, that the Lord would protect them and their families from all evil.

-For the Non Stop camp from Boyana, for the team of leaders, for the team of teachers, for the children who will come to this camp, for the team from the USA who will come to us this summer to serve, and for us to be calm so that we can conduct this camp.

- For the day camps at the church that our churches will hold. May all be blessed.

-For students from the Bible Institute who help us preach the gospel in churches where there are no pastors.

We also pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelizing the Word of God in Ukraine, we pray that God will bless you with health and return you a hundredfold blessings for your sacrifice, for your support and for your prayers for us. We feel your prayers for us. Thank you for everything!

Please accept sincere Christian greetings from my family.

With love to you, Pavel and Larisa Petikhachnyy.

Humanitarian aid from the mission brothers PIEI Romainia

Dear brothers and sisters from the United States, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am grateful to God for His protection. For the fact that peace and tranquility are still observed in our region during this time of the war in Ukraine. For a year now, this terrible war has been going on with us, and the Church of Christ has been praying earnestly for an end to this war. On February 24, an all-Ukrainian fast and a prayer to God so that all our churches, our families pray and fast for peace in Ukraine. We hope only in God and expect from Him Salvation and Victory for Ukraine and its people.

We are very grateful to God for you, our dear brothers and sisters in the Lord who live across the ocean and support us in your prayers. We pray that the Lord will bless you abundantly.

1. Humanitarian aid from the mission brothers PIEI Romainia.

- On January 24, missionary brothers from the PIEI Romania mission came to us, headed by brother Timofey Stanya and brother Mike Dima. 3 full trucks arrived with various products and other useful things for the settlers here in Ukraine.

- My wife Larisa and I met our brothers and accompanied them to their destination in Novoselitsa. From there, our missionaries had to load this help (very tasty bread, butter, rice, flour, canned meat and vegetables, apples, potatoes, carrots, onions, toilet paper, shampoo, soap and other necessary substances), and took our settlers who live among us. And brother Kioresko, our missionary, had to load his cargo bus to transport this help in Gostomel (Kiev region).

- We were very grateful to God and our brothers for their sacrifice that they rendered for us. We talked together, prayed. We fed them and then again accompanied them so that they could safely reach the border. We were very glad to hear that they got well to their homes - God bless.

-We are grateful to God and to you brothers and sisters from the USA for your donations, because on these donations, our brothers from Romania were able to buy both food and various needs for our migrants who live among us.

2. Meeting of the missionaries of the PIEI UKR mission.

-January 26, all of our 9 missionaries of the PIEI UKR mission gathered for the meeting of the 1st quarter, 2023. Each missionary gave a report on his missionary activities in his missionary field of service. We had blessed communion to pray for each other, prayers for your churches from the USA that support us here in Ukraine, prayers for the end of the war in Ukraine. We thanked God that brothers and sisters from the USA and from Romania support us in this difficult time for us time. They thanked God for the humanitarian aid from the brothers from Romania. Each missionary was loaded with this help, and taken to our migrants and the needy who live near us.

-My wife and I visited 4 people and brought this help. One of them, a disabled person in a wheelchair, called us and thanked us so much that he even cried with joy. He said that very tasty bread was from Romania. And that he prayed and thanked God and for those who baked this bread, and for those who brought all these sweets in Ukraine. Just when we visited him, he did not have bread in the house, and we arrived on time with bread. Thank God that He leads us all in a good direction so that we can help where help is needed.

3. We had communion with the church on February 5th. 2 neighboring churches (Balkovtsy and Podvirnoye) also gathered in our church because their pastors fell ill. They were brought by bus to our church, since there are a small number of church members there. So they had good fellowship and remembered the suffering of Jesus Christ together as before. Previously, these churches all gathered with us, because they did not have their own house of prayer.

4. At the end of January, our young families from our church, together with the youth of our church, organized themselves to cook ready-made food for the soldiers who defend Ukraine on the front line. They somehow agreed with 10 more churches in the Khotyn region to cook such food for our soldiers. Then there is a special bus that carries this food for these soldiers to the front line. Our people cooked meat rice, pasta casserole, baked pies (it was all cooked in a special oven, and it turned out very tasty), and marinated vegetable salads. Also, bread and compotes. Then they packed it in a special container so that it was convenient to carry all this food to the front line in the city of Kramatorsk near Bakhmut, where the fighting is going on. This is only a very small part of what we can help these soldiers. We all pray for all these soldiers that the Lord will protect them from all evil because it is very difficult for them now. May the Lord save them all and may the Lord give us peace!

4. Thanks:

-We thank God for the fact that we are still quiet and peaceful and the Lord helps us to serve here and the refugees, and to preach the gospel in our area.

-Thank the Lord for you, dear brothers and sisters. For your prayers. Thank you for praying for the soldier Yulis and he was found. He is now in the hospital and will come home soon. He was in captivity, but the Lord saved him. Our sister Nina, his mother, thanks God very much for him. We pray that Julis and his wife Lyuba repent.

-Thank you for your prayers for the missionary brother Kioresco, who delivers food and various needs to refugees from Gostomel (Kyiv region) twice a month. Thank God that God protects him and his team.

-We thank God for the fact that He still gives us health to serve Him.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray that this terrible war in Ukraine will end. We believe that only our Lord can stop all this. Those who came with the war are all planning big plans to harm Ukraine more. But God has everything under control. He knows how to protect us. And we believe that the Lord will not leave us. Do not stop praying for peace in Ukraine and for God's protection for us here.

-Keep praying for peace in our area, so that we don't have rockets, so that we can serve here calmly preaching the Word and helping those in need.

-The enemies want to turn all their aircraft on us, but pray that the Lord will protect us. We believe that only the Lord will help us and only God will stop the enemy.

-For the Lord to give us health in our ministry.

-For Ukrainian soldiers who defend Ukraine on the front line. For the Lord to protect them. For the chaplains who serve the Word among these soldiers so that the Lord protects them from shells and from all evil.

-Keep praying for our brother missionary Kioresko Gregory and his team, who carry humanitarian aid 2 times a month to the displaced people in Gostomel. For the new Evangelical Church that was recently opened in Gostomel. With His Mighty Hand.

-Pray for our non-stop Christian camp from July 24 to July 29 this summer. May God give us everything to be fine, peaceful, calm, so that we make this camp and everything to be blessed.

-We really want groups of teachers and spiritual guardians from the USA to come to us in the summer. For God to bless this desire of ours, and again, it is necessary that it be peaceful and calm here. May the Lord see this need and bless this project with the arrival of our brothers from overseas.

We are grateful to you and God for your sacrifice for us, dear brothers and sisters from the USA. We always pray for you, for your families, for your churches and for your country. May the Lord bless you with His Peace. So that you never have a war. War is evil and it is very hard. May the Lord bless you a hundredfold for supporting us here in our service for the Lord!

With love and gratitude to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavlo & Larisa family.

Christmas holiday for orphans and widows

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners and collaborators in the gospel here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I am very grateful to God for the fact that during these 2 weeks He used me to preach the gospel and serve Him.

Dear brothers and sisters, it will soon be a year since this war began in Ukraine. And we praise God that He protected us and helped us in this difficult time for us. We also thank you for praying for us all this time and helping us so that we would help other people in need.

1. Christmas holiday for orphans

- As we wrote to you in the last report, we organized a holiday for orphans on January 14 and 15. Thank you for your prayers. The Lord heard prayers and helped us to make joy for orphans and widows during these two days. True, we were not able to collect them in order to feed a delicious dinner, as we did in past years. Because now there is quarantine everywhere because of the pandemic. But we have already promised them that lunch will be postponed after the Easter holiday, when it will be warm. But we prepared good gifts for them, and we ourselves took these gifts and gave them to everyone in their hands. On the first day, January 14, we visited the Orphanage. When we arrived, an air alarm was just sounding, and together with these children we went down to the basement. There we gave everyone a Christmas present, sang Christian carols with them and told them about God's love for people. How God sent the only Son of Jesus Christ to earth to die for us and take upon Himself the sins of the whole world. How He resurrected on the 3rd day and ascended into heaven so that he would prepare a place for us there with Him. The children were very happy and thanked saying: - Thank you Jesus Christ and you! We told them - Thank God for everything! When the air raid ended an hour later, we visited the smallest orphans from this shelter (3-6 years old). They also spoke to them about Christ and sang along with them praising the Lord. They were also very happy with the gifts. Then we visited families who took 15-18 children from the orphans of the boarding school to bring up. We brought them great joy by giving them gifts.

On the second day, we visited a boarding school in Sadgora where the widows of this war live with their children. They also thanked God that the Lord does not forget about them through the believers who visit them constantly helping them in all difficulties.

2.Humanitarian aid from brothers from Romania

-Thank God for the fact that on January 24 our brothers from the PIEI Romania mission arrived and brought us humanitarian aid. My wife and I met them at the border and unloaded this aid in Novoselitsa to the Emmanuel Church, where the pastor is brother Popov Valery. We thank God for brother Timothy Stan and for brother Mike Dima, as well as for their team that came with them. We had good communication with them, praised God for the protection on the road and for this Humanitarian aid that they brought, so that we could distribute this help to our parish settlers and even take this help further for people living near the front line. We thanked God for the brothers from America who donate funds so that our brothers from Romania bring this help to those in need in Ukraine during this difficult period of the war with us. We are glad that we already have something to go to people who live in zone where people suffered more from this fierce war. Our missionary brother, brother Kioresko Gregory, together with his team, goes there 2 times a month and distributes this help to people.

After that, we fed the brothers from Romania, we handed these brothers in the hands of the Lord and sent them home. We are glad that they have already reached their home safely - Thank God!

3. Ministry with ordination to the pastor.

-With God's help, I participated in the ordination of 2 pastors. One pastor in Chernivtsi, brother Pyslar Mihai, and another in the Romanian church in Novoselitsa, brother Grishka Andrei. These services were blessed by the Lord. Everyone prayed with joy and love for these 2 pastors and glorified God.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We are grateful to God and to you, brothers and sisters, for having received this humanitarian aid for refugees through our brothers from Romania.

-We are grateful to God for our missionaries who work with full devotion to serve here in Ukraine.

-Thanks to God for the fact that it is still peaceful in our region and there are no rocket arrivals. This is not our merit, this is God's mercy on us!

-We are grateful to you for your prayers for us and for your help that comes to us in time so that we can help other people who need this help.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for an end to the war in Ukraine.

-For the orphans and widows that we visited and with whom we work proclaiming to them the love of God, may the Lord search their hearts for repentance.

-For the families who have taken orphans from the boarding school to raise and support. They have their own difficulties every day. May God give these parents wisdom and patience in this hard work.

-For these 2 pastors that we have chosen this month, that the Lord bless them with wisdom, patience and humility to serve in the church.

-So that the Lord gives us and our families health and jealousy, so that we do not get tired of doing good to people in need who live near us. So that we are hands Christ on this earth and serve others with total devotion.

Thank you again, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, for your prayers for us and for your help. May the Lord bless you abundantly! We love you and pray for you.

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel and Larysa family.

Christmas evangelization

Dear brothers and sisters, PIEI AMERICA is our evangelistic partner here in Ukraine. We greet you with the Love and Peace of Jesus Christ!

We are very grateful to God for the fact that during this time of war, for 325 days now, on the territory of Ukraine, God protects us and helps us, the Church of Christ.

Now we all pray that God will help the soldiers defending Ukraine who are fighting for the cities of Bakhmut and Soledar (Donetsk region). Fierce battles are going on there. Only God can help us so that Peace finally comes to Ukraine. And the whole Church of Christ prays for this.

1. Thank God that our Church, not our own, was able to celebrate the New Year 2023 in prayer where everyone thanked God for protection in 2022 and asked the Lord for God's protection in 2023.

Also on January 1, our church had Holy Communion of the Breaking of Bread, remembering the death and suffering of Jesus Christ. Also, together with my wife Larisa, we visited 4 sick people with the communion where we brought great joy in these houses. There were also unbelieving relatives of these sick people who listened attentively to the Word of God. We pray for them.

2. On Saturday, January 7, our church celebrated the Nativity of Christ according to the old style. Since our village celebrates Christmas this way, we were pleased that the youth prepared for this holiday and even went around the village with carols distributing Christian literature and calendars to people. Everyone was very happy to hear the wonderful hymns about the Born Messiah Jesus Christ. They also went and visited those houses where the settlers live. They were also very happy for this visit. We pray for all the people whom we visited so that the Lord would test their hearts. We are grateful to the Lord that married couples from unbelievers came to our evangelistic meetings, along with their children. We also pray for them. The children received Christmas gifts and were very happy about it.

3. This week after Christmas, we were preparing to make packages with gifts for the Christmas for the orphans, scheduled for January 19th.

4. Visited our missionaries and distributed prayer calendars (2023) for the sisters so that they have topics for prayer and study of the Word of God every month of this year.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord for His protection in our region and we can safely serve here both refugees and other people who are in difficult situations.

-We thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the PIEI mission, for helping us both materially and spiritually with your prayers for us and for peace in Ukraine.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray with us for peace to come to Ukraine. To end this war as soon as possible.

-Pray for all those people who heard the Word of God at our evangelizations and for those whom we visited and told them about the love of Christ. For the Holy Spirit to induce them to repentance.

-Pray that we can have a good Christmas for the orphans next week.

- May the Lord continue to give us, the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, health and strength to work in His Field and protect us all from the arrivals of enemy missiles.

-Pray for our brother missionary Kioresko Grigory, who went back to the city of Gostomel (Kyiv region) to carry and distribute humanitarian aid to people in need. In this city, the Church of Jesus Christ was founded, where people come to listen to the Word of God and at the same time receive humanitarian assistance. The Lord protected our brother and his team along the way.

-For the soldiers of the defenders who defend Ukraine. There are especially fierce battles in Bakhmut and Soledar (Donetsk region)

- Our sister in the Lord, from our church, Nina Kitar, lost her son, Kitar Julius, near Bakhmut. Hasn't been in touch since December 24th. If he was captured by enemies, so that the Lord would protect him.

We believe that the Lord is Almighty to help this son.

Our dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we are always grateful to God for you and for your sacrifice, and we always pray to the Lord for you so that God will bless you clearly and abundantly!

Please accept a heartfelt greeting from my family and be blessed our dear evangelistic partners in the USA!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa!

Happy New Year 2023!

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine. First of all, we want to greet you with a Happy New Year 2023! And with all our hearts, we wish you abundant blessings from our Lord for the whole year of 2023!

We are grateful to God for this past year - 2022. Although it was the most difficult year of our lives for us. For 311 days now, the war has been raging in Ukraine. The arrivals of missiles and drones over Ukraine do not stop. And we don't know where these missiles will hit. There are many people injured from them and dead. Even poor children are dying. Our soul hurts for our people and we pray for those people who live there, where such rockets often fly. We only thank God that rockets and drones do not fly to us. The Lord is merciful to us. And we pray that it will continue to be calm so that we can serve God.

1. We spent a week of prayers in the church of the village of Nesvoi where we prayed every day for peace and the end of the war in Ukraine. They prayed for an end to the arrivals of enemy missiles, for God's protection of children, young families, for ministers who serve in churches, for the sick, for orphans and for migrants from all over Ukraine. At the same time, they conducted church Bible lessons from the Gospel of Luke, which speaks of the birth of Christ the Messiah, who first suffered great suffering from the king of Israel, Herod.

2.Social assistance.

- With difficulty, we found the necessary help that a young family needed, where the wife is undergoing chemotherapy. They had already run out of all means and were already talking about death. But thank God that those people who we thought could help this family really helped, and this sister in the Lord can continue to undergo treatment. She had unbearable pains, but now these pains are gone - Thank God. We thank God for these people who helped this family.

-We helped people in need and orphans with food and medicine, and we really helped with the help that you, brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners, gave us to help such people. We are very grateful to God for you, our dear ones, who zealously donate funds for the Lord so that, with these funds, help people in need.

-We helped the family as much as we could to Alina, our translator. She had a successful operation on her leg, and she was even able to attend church with her family on December 25-Thanks to God! Thanks to everyone who prayed for her.

-In our church, in Nesvoi, there are young families, youth and our choir that helps prepare food for the soldiers of the defenders of Ukraine. And they take this ready-made food to the Khotinsky district, from there, this food, is taken by volunteers to the front line to feed these people. We cooked: cabbage rolls, pilaf with chicken meat, fried chops and froze them, baked cookies and buns. They need ready-made food because there is no place to cook on the front line. There are no conditions. You can only warm up a little food and serve them to eat. And since it is winter now and it is cold, the food does not spoil on the road in one day. Thank God that every month our church serves God through this good deed. Other churches in our region also prepare such food. May the Lord bless all who serve Him with bright blessings.

3. I taught classes at the Bible Institute on the topic: "How to Spread the Gospel to the Ends of the Earth." The students diligently studied these lessons to better know how to spread the Word of God.

4. Thanksgiving:

-I thank God for you, brothers and sisters, for your help that you gave us and we can help migrants and other needy people here.

-Thank God for my family and the families of our missionaries for keeping us healthy and protecting us from all evil.

-For the fact that our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission tirelessly help people in need and migrants: both spiritually preaching the Word of God and helping them financially with humanitarian help.

-Thank God for our churches that are ready to serve God by helping other people in need.

-We thank God for the fact that, in our region, it is peaceful and quiet, and there are no rocket arrivals. This is only God's mercy to us - Glory to Him!

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray together with us that the war in Ukraine will stop. So that the Lord will protect us because without God we will be lost.

-Pray for the students who study at the Bible Institute.

-Pray for all the missionaries who are working in the Field of God here in Ukraine.

-So that we don't have enemy missiles arriving, so that we can serve God here peacefully and calmly.

-To those whom we preach or help socially this month, may the Lord open their hearts to repentance.

-Pray for our young families and the youth of our church so that the Lord will protect them from any trouble during this difficult time for us.

-Pray for our project: "Christmas for orphans" which we planned in mid-January. We are already preparing 200 gifts for the orphans. So that the Lord would help us to realize all this at this difficult time for us. Because we do not know what awaits us tomorrow.

-For all our evangelizations that we will hold both on the New Year and on January 7 with our church. For people to come and listen to the Word of God. And for the Lord to touch their hearts.

Once again we want to thank God and you for your sacrifice and for your love for us. May God bless you abundantly and give you a hundredfold blessings!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Teaching at the Institute

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Our dear partners of the gospel of the Word of God, together with us, here in Ukraine, on behalf of all our missionaries of our PIEI Ukraine mission and on behalf of our families and churches, we want to congratulate you all on the holidays: Christmas and Happy New Year 2023! We wish you all a lot of health, happiness, success, peace and joy in Christ Jesus! So that Christ the Messiah, who came on this earth in order to save humanity, bless you, your families, your church and your country!

I am grateful to God that in this year 2022, which was a difficult year for us, because we have been at war in Ukraine for more than 10 months. There were many obstacles to spreading the Gospels, but God helped us proclaim HIS Word in the power of the Holy Spirit and many people heard the news of Christ and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in their hearts.

1. Teaching at the Institute:

-This month, the Lord helped me teach Missiology to 10 students at the Theological Institute. Through the Acts of the Holy Apostles, I showed them how the apostles spread the Gospel in the first century. Now, in the 21st century, we also have difficult circumstances, but God helps us spread the Word like the apostles in the 1st century.

2. I taught courses about the Living Faith in a church from the village of Marshentsy.

-Showed that true faith conquers the world and makes us righteous before God.

-Abraham was righteous before God and all the heroes of faith from chapter 11 to Heb.

-Many in the church prayed that they would have this living faith.

3. In the church from the village of Nesvoi, I taught the book of Joshua, chapter 2, and showed how a person can be a blessing for all his family, for the whole country, and for all of us. And we can be a blessing for other people.

4.News:

-Yesterday, December 16, 76 missiles were thrown at the cities of Ukraine and 60 of them were shot down by air defense. By doing this, the enemy wants to destroy our blessed country. In the city of Krivoy Rog (South of Ukraine), a rocket hit a residential building. There are killed and wounded. We pray for these people who live there. They live in a very dangerous zone. May God have mercy on them and may God give them to stop these missiles that destroy everything, and especially human lives.

-Our sister Alina Martsinyuk (translator of the PIEI UKR mission) had an operation on her leg yesterday, and we were fasting and praying for the operation to be successful. After the operation, Alina called and said that everything ended well - Thank God!

-Brother Gregory Kioresko, pastor missionary, was on the front line with a cargo bus and distributed humanitarian aid to all people in need.

- In Chernivtsi, in the Church of the House of Peace, brother pastor missionary Hryhoriy Pastushak performed water baptism. There were candidates for baptism both from the local church and from other churches in the region, who made a covenant with Jesus Christ through holy water baptism - Glory to God!

-All of our missionaries in our PIEI mission work intensively to serve the refugees, helping them and guiding them on the true path.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank you all for praying for our country and the people who live in it, so that peace finally comes to our land.

-We are grateful to you for praying for our translator Alina Martsinyuk, for her operation and thank God that this operation was successful.

-We are grateful to you for praying for our missionary Alex Pastushak, who also had an operation and now walks normally and works hard for God.

-We thank you for praying for all our missionaries and their families.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray together with us for peace to finally come to Ukraine.

- About the students to whom I taught missiology, so that they could practice in life what they taught.

-About those who were baptized so that they would grow spiritually.

-Continue to pray for us missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission and for our families, that the Lord would give us health to work in His Field and continue diligently, as for the Lord.

We also pray for you dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our evangelistic partners here in Ukraine. May the Lord bless you and give you a hundredfold blessings!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Preparation of new students

We greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters of the PIEI America mission.

I am grateful to the Lord God for His protection and the support that I feel in every minute of my life. For a peaceful sky overhead to our region where we live, although in Ukraine it has been 285 days since the war has been going on. We now have electricity cut off very often at night, and during the day, so we often do not have the Internet, which means there are no connections with the world. Even mobile phones are muffled. But we thank God that we are not bombed and so far we are calm by the grace of God.

Now all our missionaries are busy helping the settlers who live among us. They visit them, bring food for them. Thank God that we have such an opportunity to help these people who are in trouble.

And of course we thank you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for supporting us in this ministry through your donations and through your prayers for us.

1.Preparation of new students

- I gave lessons at the Bible Institute on the topic: “The faith that God praises.” Through these lessons I want to prepare new disciples for churches in our area, because there is a need for young ministers.

2. Regional conference with ministers of churches

-I helped the brothers, leaders of the regional office, to organize this conference with the ministers of our region on the topic: "A book in the life of a minister."

Sister conference

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, with the love and peace of Jesus Christ!

I thank God that we live under His protection in these anxious days of war for us. The war in Ukraine has been raging for 270 days and all our people are waiting for this bloody war to end. On November 15, the enemy fired more than 100 rockets against all cities of Ukraine. They want to break the entire infrastructure of Ukraine so that we do not have electricity. Of course, it is difficult for us here because of these inconveniences, because without electricity there is no mobile communication and other communication with the people around us. On November 15 and 16, our electricity was turned off for the whole day and at night the lights were turned off 2 times. But thank God that we were not bombed and so far it is quiet in our area. And in other cities of Ukraine, it is very difficult. They bomb and break, and subsequently innocent people die.

Thank God that we have people, especially believers, everyone believes that the Lord is our Savior and He will protect us from all these troubles. Yes, there is no light, but the Light of Christ burns in our hearts, in our families, in our churches and we will be able to convey this Light to people who are perishing in the darkness of sin. We always trust in the Lord and hope in Him.

1. Prayers:

-We have round-the-clock prayer groups in Bukovina and our churches of the PIEI UKR mission. They also participate in these prayers for peace in Ukraine. May the Lord hear us and help us to end this war.

-There was also a worldwide prayer of sisters on November 7, on the theme of the victorious life in Christ from 2 Corinthians 2:14. All the sisters from our Baptist brotherhood united on this day in prayer for all the people of our planet Earth.

-And on November 12, we had a sister conference on the topic: Peace in a time of war. Based on this conference, there was a verse from John 14:27. I give you my peace ...

There was a wonderful conference where almost 500 sisters from all the churches of our region participated. There were testimonies of sisters of migrants from Avdiivka, Kherson, Mariupol, and from Kharkiv. The southeast of Ukraine went through these sufferings of the war. There was a Word from the Lord, how we should be confident in the Word of the Lord and trust our God during this earthly storm, during this war. There were prayers of the sisters who prayed in tears that the Lord would protect us and our country from this war. Glory to God for such an army of sisters who pray for peace in Ukraine, for the ministers of our churches, and for the awakening to repentance of many hearts that are still lost in their sins. We all believe that the Lord will hear the prayers of our sisters and give us victory in Christ Jesus.

2. Social assistance

-In Chernivtsi, a woman with children who do not have anything to eat turned to me for help. Yesterday, November 15, I visited them and helped with the food that I took from our church in Nesvoya. I spoke to them about God and called them to repentance. They said, yes, you need to repent in order to be with God. I promised them that I would visit them again and of course I would bring food and other household necessities, but I want to explain to them more the Word of God. We pray for these people.

3. Help on the front line

-Brother Gregory Kioresko again took 2 buses with humanitarian aid to the front line, where everything is destroyed and people have no electricity, no water, no gas. We always pray for him so that the Lord will protect him on a journey that is not safe at the present time.

-Our, 8 more missionaries, also serve here, on the spot, our migrants who live among us. We try to bring them packages with essential products on time and tell them about the love of Christ. We pray for each of these migrants. We are glad that many of them these migrants visit our prayer houses and read the Bible that they received from us as a gift.

4. Session

- Conducted a session at the Bible Institute. This session was based on the Gospel of Matthew. All students studied this book with great diligence.

-The next session I will spend with them on the basis of the textbook "Names of God".

5. Thanksgiving:

-I thank God and you for your help. It helps us a lot.

-Thank you for your prayers for us. We feel your prayers and we also pray for you that the Lord bless you.

-All of our missionary wives thank Sister Martha Hauck of La Porte, Indiana for the help she has given to our missionary wives. May the Lord bless her.

-We thank the Lord for the fact that we are still calm and our region is not bombed. For the protection of God.

Prayer Needs:

-Pray for us so that the Lord will protect us further. So that we do not lose electricity, the Internet and telephone communications.

-Pray for our brother missionary Kioresco Gregory and his team, who go 2 times a month to the front lines in the cities destroyed by the war to bring humanitarian aid to people.

- So that we, the rest of the missionaries, do not get tired of helping the settlers who are with us in Bukovina.

-Pray for an end to the war in Ukraine.

We always pray and bless you brothers and sisters from the USA. May the Lord bless you a hundredfold for your sacrifice for Ukraine. Say hello to all our evangelism partners from the USA from our missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission. We love you and pray for you.

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Study Word to Church

Greetings with the love and peace of Jesus Christ, dear brothers and sisters from the USA!

I am very grateful to the Lord for helping me during these two weeks in preaching His Word to our land where we live and in this dangerous time for us.

-More than 250 days have already passed since a full-scale war is going on in Ukraine. During these two weeks

in Bukovina, 3 missiles from the enemy side were shot down and one exploded over the electric current distributor in the Dniester district, in the Novodniestrovskaya power plant. Restoration work is underway now. The enemy wants to leave us without electricity so that we would not have contact with each other. But we trusted our God and He will protect us from enemy missiles.

-We, the missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, despite these events, continue to preach the Gospel and work with refugees from our region and with refugee families whose fathers and husbands defend Ukraine at the forefront.

1. Study Word to Church:

-To our church from Nesvoi, over the past month, I conducted 3 lessons from the book of Revelation from chapters 19 to 22 to the church, which say what will happen after Daniel's 70 weeks. Unbelievers who attend our church were also present at these lessons. We pray for them too.

2. Patient visits:

-I was invited to pray over a woman with cancer and my wife and I visited this family where we prayed that the Lord would have mercy on our sister in the Lord and that God would heal her. She cried a lot and prayed a prayer of repentance and that, if the will of the Lord, God healed her of this illness. She is 59 years old and she wants to be next to her husband and daughter's family so that they serve the Lord.

-I also visited our missionary brother Vasily Preutes. He told us about his problems and we prayed together with his family, and also praised God that God had saved their lives: his and the lives of his granddaughters Yulia and Valeria, as well as his daughter-in-law Christina. They were in the car together when this accident happened. Thank God that everyone is alive and well.

-We called our missionary Alex Pastushak to find out how he is doing. We always pray for his family and are glad that God saved their lives, Alex, Nadia and son Marik, after that terrible accident that happened to them. His leg is still in the cast and the concussion are going away a bit. Nadya can already serve her family to cook for them, thank God. We continue to pray for them.

-I visited the sick and gave them holy communion from the communion. They were glad that they could take part in holy communion and remember the suffering and death of our Savior Jesus Christ. I did this in three settlements.

3.Help those in need:

-I carried social packages with food for people in need: the sick and the displaced. They thanked and praised the Lord for not forgetting them in this difficult time through our brothers and sisters of believers.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We are very grateful to the Lord for the fact that He protected us this month from enemy missiles and we are still quiet and calm. We are glad that we can serve the Lord by helping other people who are in dire need.

-We thank the Lord for saving our brother Gregory Kioresko on the road towards Kyiv, where he, with his team, carried humanitarian aid to people who went through the suffering of this war.

-We thank the Lord for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for not forgetting us in your prayers and supporting us both materially and spiritually. Thank God that we have such brothers and sisters.

5. Prayer needs:

- Our dear ones, please pray with us for the end of the war in Ukraine. Only God can stop this terrible evil that the enemy is doing.

-Pray that they don't bomb us. They want to destroy all communications, and at the moment it is electricity. Therefore, they are trying to get where the power plants are. We believe that only God can protect us.

-Pray for our sister in the Lord, Jeta, that the Lord heal her from cancer.

-Pray for our missionaries, brother Alex Pastushak, that God will heal him further, so that he can walk normally.

-Pray also for our missionary Kioresco Grigory, who will still travel to the depths of our Ukraine with humanitarian aid, closer to the front, where they are waiting for this help. That the Lord would protect him and the team from all evil and from rocket arrivals. Because there are these arrivals happen every day. May the Lord save us all from such a misfortune, because we cannot even know where such arrivals are waiting for us.

-Pray for all our missionaries so that the Lord will protect us and our families so that we can continue to work in His Field.

We always pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, that the Lord bless all of you and your families.

Praying for the PIEI America annual mission meeting in Chicago on November 4th and 5th. May the Lord bless this meeting and all the participants and missionaries who will come to this meeting. We will support you all in our prayers.

Send my heartfelt regards from me and my family to everyone I know and to whom you know us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you do for us. Be blessed!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa.

Evangelization of people

We greet you, dear brothers and sisters, with the Love of Jesus Christ.

-I am very grateful to God for helping me to carry out the ministry in His Field with great success.

1.Evangelization of people:

-We organized in the church of the village of Balkovtsy (our neighbouring village), the holiday of the Harvest. On this holiday, our youth choir glorified God and I preached the main sermon. We have been supporting this church even further since the pastor of the church and his family went abroad during the time of war. I wrote above that I had great success in evangelizing this small church because that day the church was filled with unbelievers. Three of them said they wanted to become believers, because when they listened to the youth choir, they told us, that they felt as if they were in paradise. We thank God for the fact that He worked so wonderfully on the hearts of these people. We rejoice that they continue to attend the church regularly since then and pray for them. The ministers of our church from Nesvoia support this small church by visiting them and strengthening them in the Word.

2. Session at the Bible Institute:

-I taught the students of the Bible Institute, Matthew, part 2. In the middle of the session, we all organized mini-evangelizations among the people we met in the streets around the city. The students practiced what they learnt and told people about what is written in Mathew part 2. It is very interesting in our time that we have not met such people who do not want to study or listen to the Word of God. We gave them addresses so that they could continue this study.

3.News from our missionaries:

-Unfortunately, not everything is so smooth and good for our missionaries. There are illnesses and other difficulties.

-Last week, our missionary brother Alex Pastushak had a car accident. He was driving with his family to the village where his parents once lived when another car hit them badly. Thank God that everything is fine with their son Mark, but Alex has a fractured left leg and both Alex and Nadia have a concussion. Yesterday, on Thursday, they were discharged from the hospital. Nadia's knees hurt a lot. And Alex was put in a cast on his leg. Thank God that they are already on the mend. The car was severely smashed, but Thank God that they survived.

- The family of the missionary Preutesa Vasily also got into a car accident a week earlier when the accident happened to Alex. The car of the missionary Preutesa was badly smashed in the back. Brother Vasily was slightly hurt, but the granddaughters, Julia, Valeriia and his daughter-in-law Christina, who were in the car, thank God are fine.

4. Social assistance to refugees.

- Our missionary brother, Grigory Kioresko, carried twice, humanitarian aid for people affected by this war in Kyiv, in Gostomel, in Bucha and in Irpin. These people are in great need of food and they are very happy and thankful when our brothers, help them getting everything they need.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We are grateful to God for our missionaries Alex Pastushak and his family, and Vasily Preutesa with his family for staying alive after such severe accidents.

-We are very grateful to God and you, for your prayers and for your help, which gives us strength to serve and help more the refugees who stay here and live among us.

-We are grateful to God that God protected our missionary brother Grisha Kioresko and he was able to go many times to the places where the war caused great destruction, and brought food and humanitarian aid there. Now it is very dangerous to go there because missiles often fly in from the enemy side. Although the Chernovtsy region has not been bombed yet, (the only region which wasn’t attacked by rockets since the beginning of the war) three missiles have already been fired near Chernivtsi. Thank God! We live only by His grace.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray for missionary Alex Pastushak and for his family that God will give them a full recovery.

-Pray for the missionary Vasily Preutesa that he will also get out of this crisis situation. His car was badly damaged.

-Pray for the missionary Kioresco Grigory, so that when he goes to bring humanitarian aid in the areas affected by the war, that the Lord will protect him on the road and during his stay there, among those people.

-Pray for all our missionaries who decided to stay here to serve God and people in such a difficult time for us, when the war is going on throughout Ukraine. Pray so that we can help the refugees who stay here to spend the winter with us with all our love and patience.

-Pray that the arrivals of the enemy missiles that want to destroy everything in Ukraine will stop. Pray for peace in our region so that we can serve people in need.

We always pray for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA. Thank you for your love towards us and for your help. May the Lord fill all your needs and return you a hundredfold everything that you have sacrificed for us. Be blessed!

With love to you, the Petikhachny family, Pavel and Larisa
