Ministering brothers conference

Dear brothers and sisters from the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

1. Because we have a war in Ukraine, and because we are having a difficult time now, guests come to visit us, especially brothers from Romania. We organize conferences, and ministerial brothers from Romania minister the Word at these conferences. This month 4 ministering brothers from Romania came to us and we organized large evangelizations to our church. We are pleased that non-believers also come to these Evangelizations.

-On the last Sunday of this month, we organized an Evangelization with a group of singers from Chernivtsi. The service was in Ukrainian and we invited many displaced people to this service. We pray for them that they will repent.

2. We held funerals where the Word of God was preached in the Power of the Holy Spirit. One sister died at the age of 99. All her relatives were unbelievers, and everyone listened to the Word of God. We pray for these people too. For us, such evangelizations are a joy, because we can serve the Word to people who have not yet known the love of Jesus Christ.

3. Our sisters from the church, every Saturday, have prayer meetings and pray earnestly so that the war in Ukraine will end. And there were also topics for prayer so that we would not be afraid of any horror and misfortune that could befall us at any moment. We must trust only in God and entrust our lives in His Holy Hands.

-November 6, also, our sisters had a day of fasting and prayer. Together with all the Baptist sisters from all over the world, they prayed on the topic: “Uniting all the sisters from the Baptist brotherhood to convince people for Christ.”

We also collected funds that we sent to help serve people in need.

4. Two of our brothers from our church went with a bus loaded with food products to the war zone. Thank God that they came home safe and sound, and for the fact that they brought joy to people who need it.

5.Thanksgiving:

-We thank God for having good opportunities to preach the Gospel to many unbelievers.

-We thank God for peace and tranquility in our region and we have the opportunity to help displaced people.

6.Prayer needs:

-Pray with us about ministry with displaced people, because this is a very important ministry that we have at the moment during this time of war in Ukraine.

-Let us pray for those unbelievers who heard the Word of God this month.

-Pray for me that the Lord will give me the necessary Words of His when I preach the Gospel.

And to you, brothers and sisters from the USA, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your financial support, for your encouragement and for your prayers. You are a great blessing and support for us.

And we pray for you and wish you great and abundant blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Evangelization with the displaced people

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of Jesus Christ! I magnify the Lord because only He cares and takes care of us in this service that we do before Him here in Ukraine.

1. This month, together with our church, we held a funeral for one brother deacon at the age of 89, who lived among us as an immigrant from Irpen, Kyiv region. The Word of God was preached both at the pre-funeral service and on the second day at the brother’s funeral. Many of the unbelieving people were at this funeral and heard the Word of the Gospel preached in the power of the Holy Spirit.

2. We had evangelization with the displaced people who live among us, where one brother, an immigrant from Lugansk, a city that is under occupation, preached. He had a strong testimony along with his wife. His wife herself is from the USA but has been living in Ukraine for 33 years. At the end of this evangelization, each of the settlers received one package of food for which these people were very grateful to God and our church.

3. At the end of the month we had 2 evening evangelisms with 2 brothers from Romania. One brother preached the Word of God, and the other brother was a good singer and praised God through singing. We pray for those unbelievers who visited our church during these days of evangelization.

4.Thanksgiving:

-We thank God that this month we have had wonderful opportunities to proclaim the Gospel to people.

-We always thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, because you are a very good support for our ministry here in Ukraine during this difficult time for us.

-We are also grateful to the Lord for the fact that in our region it is still quiet and calm, without the arrival of enemy missiles, and we can work here in God’s Field to serve in the church, as well as to help people in need.

5.Prayer needs:

-Let's pray together for Ukraine and for Israel where this bloody war broke out. The Lord can stop all this. We trust in Him.

-Pray for the unbelieving people who heard the Word of the Gospel preached this month.

-Pray for me and my family that the Lord will protect us and that we will always remain in His Truth.

We are sincerely grateful to you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for the fact that in various difficult life situations through which we went through, you always prayed for us, supported us and helped us financially. We always praise and thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in the gospel here in Ukraine!

We always pray for you, love you and wish you abundant blessings from God and the peace of Christ to always be among you and with you!

With love, the Gortopan family.

Thanksgiving day

Dear brothers and sisters of PIEI America, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I praise the Lord for having lived through blessed days this month when I saw every day the support and protection of God in my ministry.

1. At the beginning of September we had an evangelization in our church with one brother preacher from Romania. One family also praised God through singing, where both parents and children are all singers - Glory to God! Unbelieving people also came to this evangelization and listened to the Word of God. We pray for them.

2. Our church collected 1000 dollars for one church from Kyiv. They bought a two-story house. On the first floor they will have a Rehabilitation Center, and on the second floor there will be a House of Prayer. We have had ties with this church since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Many of them lived among us as refugees. And now, when it is already calm there, they have gone home, and we are helping them in this ministry.

-We also helped several refugee families from our village who need our help.

3. On the last Sunday of September, we celebrated, together with the church, the Harvest holiday - the Day of thanksgiving to the Lord our God for all the gifts of the earth this year. There was a rich program where children, youth and everyone from the church participated, who had a poem or psalms to glorify God on this wonderful Thanksgiving day. The whole church offered prayers of thanksgiving to the Lord for the wonderful harvest that God sent to us on earth.

4.Thanksgiving:

-I always thank the Lord for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for the fact that you always support us in your prayers and help us financially to support our ministry here in Ukraine.

-We thank God that we live in a blessed place, where during this war it is calm and we can help everyone who needs help, as well as our refugees.

5.Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for all the people who heard the Word of the Gospel this month in different ways.

-Continue to pray for our Ukraine so that the Lord will have mercy on us and stop this difficult war that brings so much suffering, pain of separation and death.

-Pray for me that the Lord will give me wisdom from above to serve God and that the Holy Spirit will fill me always when I tell people about Christ.

And to all our evangelism partners from the PIEI organization, we are very grateful to you for everything you do for us here. May the Lord return your blessings a hundredfold for your work and support in service for Christ. We love you and are always praying for you. Be blessed by God!

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Baptism in our church

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! I praise the Lord for the fact that He wonderfully guides us and takes care of us in our service in God’s Field.

1. At the beginning of the month of August, we had a Baptism in our church, where 3 young people were baptized and made a vow to the Lord that they would serve Him for the rest of their lives. These young people (over 30 years old) live in the neighboring village of Vanchikovtsy, where there is no Protestant church, but only an Orthodox church. They need our prayers so that the Lord strengthens their faith.

2. One of the girls who repented in the camp, in Boyany, regularly attends our church, takes an active part in the youth ministry in the church, and the other girl, Amelia, who also repented in Boyany, came to church only once in a whole month. This is because her parents are against her attending our church. But we pray for her and her parents. And we believe that the Lord can work miracles for this family.

3. After evangelism with eyepieces, which was carried out by brothers from the USA and sister Debbie, one man from our village (his name is Alexey) regularly visits our church. We really pray for him so that he understands the Word of God which can change his life.

4.Thanksgiving:

-We thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, who support us both financially and spiritually through your prayers for us and for our ministry in Ukraine.

-We thank God for heard prayers for those young people from Vanchikovtsa. They are very active in ministry and love to study the Word of God. May the Lord help them to continue to be so zealous in serving for Him.

5.Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for Amelia, a girl who repented in the camp and who cannot attend our meetings because of her parents. The Lord is the One who can resolve this situation in her family.

-Let us pray for our church youth, that they may be united, and that they may be a good example for non-believers.

-Pray for me that the Lord will always give me the Word through the Power of the Holy Spirit, so that this Word will touch the hearts of people.

-Pray for the war in Ukraine to end.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the brothers and sisters of PIEI USA for your support. We always pray for you and wish you abundant blessings from our Lord God. We always wish that we have a true and good relationship with God and that we serve God together.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

VBS camp

Dear brothers and sisters of the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I praise God that through His grace and mercy we spent a wonderful month, where we saw how wonderfully God works.

1. In early July, a children's Christian day camp was organized at our church, where we saw the Lord's blessed Hands over this camp. Before lunch, almost 100 children came, and in the afternoon, 50 teenagers came. They had a wonderful time studying the Word of God, according to children's concepts, then there were various sports games and for lunch they were treated to delicious food. We are glad that we have very beautiful testimonies from the parents of these children. These parents are non-believers, but they are very grateful for such camps, because their children, after the camp, have become more obedient.

2. We prayed, together with the church, for those who fell away from the faith and, thank God, one man (his name is Sergey), for whom we prayed earnestly, repented and returned to God again. This is a joy for our entire church.

3.At the end of the month of July, a youth camp of our PIEI mission was held, where a team from the USA also took part. It was not easy for them, but seeing the result, in the end, we can confidently say that it is worth sacrificing so much effort and money for such a huge success in evangelism in our Ukraine. Evangelism with eyepieces also had a lot of success, where unbelieving people came, and to whom not only glasses were provided, but also the Word of God. Thank God for everything!

Gratitude:

-Thank God for this good opportunity through these camps to give the gospel to children, and through evangelism with eyepieces we were able to give the gospel to adults.

-We thank God for peace and tranquility in our region, where we can safely serve the Lord.

-Thank God for the team from the USA that served both in the camp and in our churches.

Prayer Needs:

-Pray, together with us, for those who have heard the Word of God in different circumstances, that they repent.

-Pray for one teenage girl, Amelia, who repented in the camp in Boyany, but her parents do not let her into the meeting.

-Keep praying for Ukraine so that the war ends and that the Lord brings us the long-awaited peace in the country.

On the part of my family, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the team from the USA who served us so diligently and donated themselves and their time to serve in the Field of God, here in Ukraine. You have been a role model for us. We are very grateful to you and wish from the bottom of our hearts that the Lord bless them and reward their work with abundant blessings.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.
