Help for Kherson

Dear brothers and sisters of the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I praise the Lord for the fact that through His grace and through His mercy to us, we have lived to see half of this year, 2023, the time when we saw the mercy and love of the Lord for us and when He helps us to serve in His Field.

1. Together with our brothers from our church, we have once a week fellowship in prayer and study of the Word of God. Now we are studying the Epistle of the Apostle James, where we study that true faith is the faith that is visible in our deeds. The Epistle of the Apostle James is the mirror where we can analyze the quality of our faith. I am very glad that together with our brothers from the church, brothers from Vanchikivtsi who have recently repented come to these meetings.

2. With brothers and sisters from our church, we were at the funeral in the village of Fagadeu. There is a small church there and they need our help.

3.Our church collected social assistance for the Kherson region, who went through this big flood. We bought food products, drinking water, bread, and 4 brothers took it all by bus to people in Kherson.

4. On the last Sunday of this month, we organized an evangelism in our church, where two pastor brothers from Romania preached. Thank God there was a very blessed evangelism. We pray for those who visited our church that the Word of God sown on this day does not return without the fruit of repentance.

5. Thanksgiving:

-Thank God for giving us the opportunity to preach the gospel Word.

-We thank the Lord that we live in these blessed places where there are no rocket arrivals and we can serve each other with the acquisition.

6. Prayer requests:

-At the beginning of the month of July, we will hold a children's day camp, please pray with us for this service.

-Let's pray especially for our camp organized by the PIEI UKR mission, which will be from July 24 to 29, in Boyany.

-Pray for the team from the USA who will come to us, so that the Lord will protect them and protect them from all evil.

-Pray also for the evangelization that is planned at the beginning of the month of August, for baptism in our church.

We are very grateful to all our US PIEI mission partners for everything you do for us. You are a great blessing and support to us. We love you and pray for you always. We wish to meet with you and to glorify our Lord together. God bless you dear ones!

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

We see the hand of God leading us

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I praise God because in His ministry He takes care of us in a wonderful way.

1. In all church services we see the hand of God leading us.

This month, in the church, we did a study of the Word from 1 Corinthians 15, which speaks of the resurrection of Christ from the dead and the appearance of Christ to his disciples. This chapter explains how they are resurrected and what the significance of Christ's Resurrection is.

-With the brothers from our church, we study the book of James, from the New Testament, which is a mirror for us and in which we can check our spiritual level of our faith. I wish that the members of our church grow spiritually, are useful for the church and useful for people who are looking for God.

2. Together with our church, we held 2 funeral services. These ministries are planned by God. There were many unbelieving people who listened attentively to the Word of the Gospel.

3. Both our brothers and sisters from the church have special days and hours for prayer. The main theme of these prayers is for the war to end and for God to bring us the long-awaited peace in Ukraine.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We are grateful to God that we live in such an area where there are no rocket arrivals and where we can serve other people.

-I constantly thank God and for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, for the fact that although we live in difficult times of crisis, you are a great support and blessing for us both spiritually and financially.

5. Prayer needs:

-Keep praying for our country, for peace in Ukraine.

-Pray also for those people who this month heard the Word of the Gospel at an evangelization or at a funeral.

-Pray for me, because in my ministry, I need wisdom from our Lord.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, brothers and sisters from the USA, for being a great support for us and help in our ministry. And as it is written in the epistle of St. Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:58. So I say to you: And so, my beloved brothers, be strong, immovable, always prosper in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain before the Lord.

From the side of our family, we wish you great blessings from the Lord and the grace of the Lord be with you. May Jesus our Savior be with you every day and that He may lead you into His truth.

With love, the Gortopan family.

Christ is Risen! Christ is truly Risen!

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! I praise and glorify God for the fact that He wonderfully cares about serving in His Field and always cares about us in different situations of our life.

1. I praise God for the fact that we live in a blessed place where we can gather freely and calmly for fellowship, for prayer and other good world events. So on March 26, we had a service in the morning and another man from Vanchikovtsy repented, who has been visiting our church with his family for a long time. His name is Andrew. Then, after dinner, we organized an evangelization where we invited brother Pavel Petikhachny and he preached. And Andreev's wife Tanya came out to repent - Thank God!

2. At the beginning of the month of April, we celebrated the Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Then, a week later, on April 16, we celebrated the feast of the Resurrection of Christ. We had a blessed ministry with a special program: children's ministry, youth ministry and our church choir. We were glad that many of the unbelievers and migrants who live in our village came to worship with us.

3. On Monday, the second day of Easter, we organized an Evangelism with children. They were taught lessons about the Resurrection of our Lord available to them, to children. There were games for them, children's praises, and they spent this children's fellowship wonderfully. There were about 40 children and many of these children were from unbelieving families.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord for these 3 souls from the village of Vanchikivtsi who repented this month.

-I thank God for the evangelistic meetings that the Lord helped us to hold in our church.

-We thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters, for the fact that you are a great support, help and comfort for us.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray, together with us, for these 3 souls who repented, that the Lord would strengthen their faith. Their names are: Andrei and his wife Tanya have 2 more children. Also for Peter. They are still young. They are just over 30 years old.

-Pray that this terrible war will end where so many young innocent people die.

-Pray for me too so that the Lord will strengthen me and give me wisdom both in serving in the church and in serving among the settlers.

With all my heart I thank you brothers and sisters for the fact that through your blessings, you are a great support for us, blessed help and encouragement in our ministry here, where we work in God's Vineyard.

We love you and pray for you, we also wish the Lord to bless you with abundant blessings every day and every hour of your life.

My family greets you all with a greeting: Christ is Risen! Christ is truly Risen!

With love, the Gortopan family.

Studying the Word of God

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I glorify and praise God because only by His mercy and grace He helped us to this place and takes care of us every day of our life.

1. Together with our church, we spent a blessed time when we gathered together for prayer, worship and other events. Young people, children and our choir participate in worship.

2. With our brothers from the church, we gather together for fellowship and prayer once a week. We will spend time studying the Word of God, and it is very encouraging. Last week, 2 men from Vanchikovtsi were with us for communication. They ask us many questions and want to learn more about the Word of God from the Holy Scriptures. And during our conversation, one of these men, Andrey, repented. We had special joy for this newly converted brother and I praise the Lord for this. It pleases me that this brother immediately had such a desire that his whole house, that is, that all his relatives from his house: his wife, children and relatives, that all would know the Lord through the Holy Gospel, so that they too would be in The Kingdom of God is with him.

3. Many members of our church, who work abroad, expressed their desire to help poor people during this war, and sent finances for this. And we helped poor families and people who need this help: products and vegetables, as well as other needs for the house. Thank God for these brothers and sisters who help people here in our country, in this difficult time for us.

4. Gratitude:

- I thank God for the prayers heard and Andrei from Vanchikovtsy repented.

- Thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, you are always a support for us in this difficult time for us.

- I thank God for peace and tranquility, at this time of war in Ukraine, in our region. For the fact that we are not bombed and we can calmly serve other people who need our help.

5. Prayer needs:

- Pray, together with us, for those who come to our church but have not yet repented. That they all come to God and accept Christ as their Savior in their hearts.

- Pray for the end of the war in Ukraine. For our young men and women who were mobilized to the front and for those who may be mobilized. May the Lord protect everyone from all evil.

- For me and my family, may the Lord always protect us and strengthen us in serving the Lord.

We are very grateful to you brothers and sisters from the USA, because in all situations of our life you were always by our side and helped us, supported us and prayed for us, even in this difficult time of the war in Ukraine, we feel your support and your prayers for us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do for us. From our side, we wish you abundant blessings from our Lord, especially much health to you in these earthly bodies, and spiritual health, and all the blessings of the Lord to accompany you everywhere in this life.

With love to you, the Hortopan family.

We helped one poor family from our village

Dear brothers and sisters of PIEI America, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! We glorify and praise the Lord for the fact that through His mercy and grace we are alive and well and we can say like Joshua: “Until this place the Lord has helped us”!

1. This month we visited the sick and elderly members of our church, along with our youth. We rejoiced together, sang psalms and prayed together. Our patients were very satisfied and grateful, and the youth were glad that they could be useful to bring joy, peace and love to the sick and the elderly.

2. We helped one poor family from our village. The mother of 4 children had an operation, so some brothers and sisters from our church helped them financially. Then we came to their home and brought them food and vegetables, as well as other help for the whole family. They were very pleased.

3. Were at the funeral in the village of Kostychany, together with the choristers, and helped there at the funeral service. There is a small church there, so when such churches need help, we are always happy to serve for God.

4). On February 24, our church, together with all believers from Ukraine, were in fasting and prayer, so that the Lord would give us peace and victory in Ukraine. For God to help us and protect us.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord for His salvation and protection of our region from the arrivals of rockets that arrive so often in the east and south of Ukraine.

-Thank God for the fact that one family from Vanchikovtsy visits our church. We pray for them.

-We always thank God for you for supporting us both prayerfully and financially, so that we could help people here who need this help.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray with us for Ukraine because only God can stop this war.

-For those unbelievers who attend our church, so that the Lord opens their hearts to Him.

-For me and my family, so that the Lord will protect us and strengthen us in His service.

We sincerely thank you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, who serve with us, support us and pray for us. We also always thank God for you and pray for you. We love you and wish you much health and God's abundant blessings!
