Humanitarian aid for needy

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our evangelistic partners here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I glorify and give praise to the Lord, because only because of His mercy and grace to us, He has protected us until now.

1. In all services in the church, we see the guiding Hand of God above us. Together with our brothers, we have an analysis of the Word of God, and we are now studying the parables of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the end of the study, we analyze everything we have learned and pray that the Lord will help us apply the Word of God in our lives. This study of the Gospel is very pleasing to those brothers who have recently repented. This is how they learn, and they need this for the edification of their souls, for the spiritual growth of faith. It is also necessary for all of us to study the Word of God so that we grow spiritually every day of our life on this earth.

2. Through Popov's brother Valery, our missionary, we received humanitarian aid, clothes, products and vegetables, and I took them to families in need, displaced persons and the sick. These people thanked us very much, they were glad for our visits and praised the Lord God. I really wish that through such visits to disadvantaged people, the Lord would speak to their hearts and draw these people to Himself.

3. On the last Sunday of this month, we celebrated the Feast of the Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. Many unbelieving people attended this evangelization. Our youth, as well as children from the church, had a wonderful program of glorification through which our Lord Jesus Christ was glorified. The Word of God was also preached through the Power of the Holy Spirit. We pray for all the people who listened to this service.

4. Thanks:

- I am very grateful to the Lord for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, because you are a great support and blessing in the service of Ukraine.

- I thank the Lord for peace and tranquility in our region where we live. Without the arrival of rockets and without bombings, we can safely serve the Lord here.

5. Prayer needs:

- We will pray for unbelieving people who listen to the Word of the Gospel, so that the Lord may test their hearts to repentance.

- Continue to pray for our country, for peace, because only through our efforts and persistence in our prayers, the Lord will give us the long-awaited peace in Ukraine.

- Pray for me and my family, that the Lord would strengthen us in faith and protect us from all evil during this difficult period of the war in Ukraine, so that we could serve the Lord zealously and boldly, not looking at the obstacles that surround us, but looking to our Lord Jesus Christ-Glory to Him forever!

From our family, we wish you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in the gospel here in Ukraine, that we continue to serve the Lord together and that the Lord blesses you with health, peace, joy, success and many more blessings from the Lord in your families, in to your churches and to your country of the USA. We, through our brother Pavel Petihachny, are always informed about your prayer needs and will always bring these prayer needs of yours to the Lord in our prayers. We are always grateful to the Lord for you and for what you do for us.

With love to you, the Hortopan family.

Family came to Christ

Dear brothers and sisters of the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! I praise the Lord for the fact that He cares for us in all the ministries that we perform for Him.

1. On the first Sunday of this month, we celebrated in our church the feast of the Holy Communion, the remembrance of the death and suffering of Christ, which unites us and reminds us of the feat and death of Christ for all people and for His Church. Also on this day we visited the sick, members of our church, in their homes and also had communication with them from the Word of God. They were very happy that they were able to participate, together with the church, in the sacrament of remembering the death and suffering of Christ.

2. We also had the blessing of a child in our church. Our daughter Tatyana and her husband brought their baby daughter to the blessing, where together with the church they prayed for her and entrusted her in God’s hands. The children from our church also had a good program for this family. There were also unbelievers who listened to the Word of God. We pray for them.

3. I am glad that several people attend our meeting, and this month one family, husband and wife, repented - Glory to God! We also pray for other people who go to church but have not yet decided to give their hearts to Jesus.

4.Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord that we live in quiet and peaceful places where we don’t hear the roar of bombs and missiles. Thank God for that He has mercy on us and protects us from these arrivals.

-We are very grateful to God and for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, because whenever we go through trials in this difficult time of war for us, you are always our support and help: both through your prayers and through material help.

-I thank God for those non-believers who visit our house of prayer.

5.Prayer needs:

-Continue to pray with us that the Lord will have mercy on Ukraine and that our war will end.

-Pray for this family who recently repented, that God will strengthen them in faith and bring them even closer to Him.

-Pray for me and my family, that the Lord will strengthen us in faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit to serve God.

-We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, brothers and sisters from the USA, who always pray for us, support us financially and always stand by our side when we go through trials. We, together with our family, are very grateful to you for your support and for your help. We wish you from God much health, Joy in Christ Jesus, the peace of God and other heavenly blessings. And we love you and are always praying for you.

With love, the Gortopan family.

Blessing of a child

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I praise and thank God for the fact that He wonderfully takes care of His ministry here in our region.

1. At the beginning of the month, one young family brought their little child to church for blessing. Two of the sister’s friends also came there and sang beautiful songs to the glory of the Lord. There were also relatives of this young family from non-believing families. Therefore, it turned out to be a good evangelism where everyone heard the Word of God, and the children from our church had a good prepared program for this family.

2. This month we also had the funeral of one sister from the church. All of this sister’s relatives were non-believers, but they attended this funeral both in the evening at the pre-funeral service and in the afternoon during the funeral and listened to the Word of the Gospel which was preached in the power of the Holy Spirit.

3. Our youth from the church are very active in ministry. They always prepare worship programs with psalms and poems. We have 2 more young men who are studying at Bible college and are already starting to preach. We are very happy for them, and they need our encouragement and support in prayer.

4.Thanksgiving:

-I thank God for all the good circumstances we had to preach the Gospel.

-I thank the Lord for this area where we live, for the fact that it is quiet, calm and peaceful here.

-I thank God for you too, because when we go through trials and various hardships in life, you are always our support in prayer, in your encouragement, and also support us financially.

5.Prayer needs:

-Let us pray for everyone who heard the Word of the Gospel this month.

-For the youth, teenagers and children from the church, so that the Lord will protect them from the evil one and keep them from any bad influence of modern technology that is acting on the psyche of children and youth in our time.

-Pray for me and my family that when we go through trials, that we will not become weak spiritually, but rather that we will be strengthened in Christ Jesus.

And to our brothers and sisters from the USA, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers for us and for your support when we go through trials and problems in this life. May the Lord reward you a hundredfold with blessings from heaven for your goodness and mercy. And we love you and are praying for you. We wish you much peace and joy in Christ Jesus!.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Christmas for children

Dear brothers and sisters of the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We thank the Lord that by His mercy and grace, we were able to live one month of this new year - the first month of 2024, continuing to serve our Lord, together with you, our partners from the USA, in preaching the gospel here in Ukraine.

1. On January 7, in our area, people celebrate the Nativity of Christ, and we organized evangelism with children in our church. Children from our church took part, as well as children from our village from non-believing families. The children were given lessons from the Bible related to the Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. How the Son of God became incarnate through Mary, how the Messiah-Savior of the world was born. The children asked many questions to their teachers, and they also had Bible competitions and games. They found these lessons very interesting and enjoyable. And at the end of the program, all the children received gifts.

2. The youth of our church walked around the village with carols and spread the good news throughout the village in many houses both in the village of Tarasovtsy and in the village of Vanchikovtsy. Everyone they visited was given a spiritual calendar.

3. During this time of winter we visit the sick and members of our church. We have conversations with them from the Holy Scriptures, they tell us about their problems and their illnesses. We pray with them and encourage them through the Word of God. Such discussions and conversations bring us closer to each other. And when I learn from them about their needs, I know what to pray to God for our sick. And I myself am strengthened in faith through such communications with our brothers and sisters.

4.Thanksgiving

-I thank the Lord for having good opportunities for evangelism this month.

-We thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, because you are a blessing and great support for us both spiritually and materially.

5.Prayer needs:

-Pray with us for all those who have heard the Word of the Gospel this month, that the Spirit of God will prompt them to repentance.

-Continue to pray for our country and for the country of Israel, so that the Lord will intervene, because only God can make the war end.

-Pray for me too that the Lord will give me wisdom, health and zeal for the gospel.

-Thank you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for helping us in ministries in Ukraine, supporting us both in your prayers and financially. And also in your spirit you are always close to us, we always glorify God and always thank the Lord for you. We love you too and are always praying for you. We also wish you peace and blessings from heaven from the Lord.

With love to you, the Gortopan family.

Nativity of Christ

Dear brothers and sisters from the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! Only through the grace and mercy of our Lord we survived until the end of the year 2023, a difficult year for our country, when there is a terrible war that has brought so many lost lives of young, children and old, so many tears of separation in families. Many were left without a home and were forced to come to our region where they found refuge in our region. There are empty houses in our village where the owners have moved and are working abroad, and these displaced people live in their houses. And we praise God for the fact that our region is still calm, and we can help those who need our help.

1. In the month of December, which is the month of gifts, my family and I prepared food packages for poor families from our village, for displaced people who live among us, and for frail old people.

2. On December 25, we celebrated the Nativity of Christ together with our church. There was a blessed service where everyone who wanted to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah, from children and young people to anyone who wanted to, even those who were already old, participated in this program. The good news is that non-believers were also present at our worship. We pray for them.

3. I am happy for one young girl, Evelina, who repented at the camp this summer in Boyany. She takes an active part in the youth worship group. I put one photo of her glorifying God through singing.

4. In the last week of this year we had prayer services every day. Every day we had prayer needs for our country, for the leadership of our country, for the end of the war, for the repentance of our people, for the growth of our faith and for the readiness of the Church of Christ for the coming of Christ. And also about other prayer needs of our church.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord for helping us in everything so far, protecting us, and taking care of us.

-I thank the Lord that we have you, true friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, who help us and support us in this difficult time for us.

6. Prayer needs:

-Please pray for Evelina, that the Lord will strengthen her faith, and that the devil will not deceive her because we are now living in difficult times, I mean spiritually.

-We continue to pray for peace in Ukraine and for peace in Israel.

-We pray for this coming year, 2024, that the Lord will bless it, and that He will bless us all with wisdom from above.

At the end of this year, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our brothers and sisters in the United States who serve God with us. This year has been a difficult year, but you have been a consolation, encouragement, and support for us. We are very grateful to the team led by brother Cornel Stef and sister Gabriella, who had the courage to come to Ukraine.

The Christian youth camp in Boyany was wonderful, and we are now seeing good results, Thank God!

In this New Year 2024, we wish you peace in your hearts, joy in Christ, and many abundant blessings from God!

With love to you, the Gortopan family.
