Studying the Word of God

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I glorify and praise God because only by His mercy and grace He helped us to this place and takes care of us every day of our life.

1. Together with our church, we spent a blessed time when we gathered together for prayer, worship and other events. Young people, children and our choir participate in worship.

2. With our brothers from the church, we gather together for fellowship and prayer once a week. We will spend time studying the Word of God, and it is very encouraging. Last week, 2 men from Vanchikovtsi were with us for communication. They ask us many questions and want to learn more about the Word of God from the Holy Scriptures. And during our conversation, one of these men, Andrey, repented. We had special joy for this newly converted brother and I praise the Lord for this. It pleases me that this brother immediately had such a desire that his whole house, that is, that all his relatives from his house: his wife, children and relatives, that all would know the Lord through the Holy Gospel, so that they too would be in The Kingdom of God is with him.

3. Many members of our church, who work abroad, expressed their desire to help poor people during this war, and sent finances for this. And we helped poor families and people who need this help: products and vegetables, as well as other needs for the house. Thank God for these brothers and sisters who help people here in our country, in this difficult time for us.

4. Gratitude:

- I thank God for the prayers heard and Andrei from Vanchikovtsy repented.

- Thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, you are always a support for us in this difficult time for us.

- I thank God for peace and tranquility, at this time of war in Ukraine, in our region. For the fact that we are not bombed and we can calmly serve other people who need our help.

5. Prayer needs:

- Pray, together with us, for those who come to our church but have not yet repented. That they all come to God and accept Christ as their Savior in their hearts.

- Pray for the end of the war in Ukraine. For our young men and women who were mobilized to the front and for those who may be mobilized. May the Lord protect everyone from all evil.

- For me and my family, may the Lord always protect us and strengthen us in serving the Lord.

We are very grateful to you brothers and sisters from the USA, because in all situations of our life you were always by our side and helped us, supported us and prayed for us, even in this difficult time of the war in Ukraine, we feel your support and your prayers for us. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do for us. From our side, we wish you abundant blessings from our Lord, especially much health to you in these earthly bodies, and spiritual health, and all the blessings of the Lord to accompany you everywhere in this life.

With love to you, the Hortopan family.

We helped one poor family from our village

Dear brothers and sisters of PIEI America, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! We glorify and praise the Lord for the fact that through His mercy and grace we are alive and well and we can say like Joshua: “Until this place the Lord has helped us”!

1. This month we visited the sick and elderly members of our church, along with our youth. We rejoiced together, sang psalms and prayed together. Our patients were very satisfied and grateful, and the youth were glad that they could be useful to bring joy, peace and love to the sick and the elderly.

2. We helped one poor family from our village. The mother of 4 children had an operation, so some brothers and sisters from our church helped them financially. Then we came to their home and brought them food and vegetables, as well as other help for the whole family. They were very pleased.

3. Were at the funeral in the village of Kostychany, together with the choristers, and helped there at the funeral service. There is a small church there, so when such churches need help, we are always happy to serve for God.

4). On February 24, our church, together with all believers from Ukraine, were in fasting and prayer, so that the Lord would give us peace and victory in Ukraine. For God to help us and protect us.

5. Thanksgiving:

-We thank the Lord for His salvation and protection of our region from the arrivals of rockets that arrive so often in the east and south of Ukraine.

-Thank God for the fact that one family from Vanchikovtsy visits our church. We pray for them.

-We always thank God for you for supporting us both prayerfully and financially, so that we could help people here who need this help.

6. Prayer requests:

-Pray with us for Ukraine because only God can stop this war.

-For those unbelievers who attend our church, so that the Lord opens their hearts to Him.

-For me and my family, so that the Lord will protect us and strengthen us in His service.

We sincerely thank you, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, who serve with us, support us and pray for us. We also always thank God for you and pray for you. We love you and wish you much health and God's abundant blessings!

Evangelistic children's ministry

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! I praise God for the fact that through His grace and mercy, He takes care of us in His ministry.

1. We spent a blessed time with the church when we gathered together for fellowship, for prayer and other spiritual events. Recently, 2 unbelieving men from the village of Vanchikovtsy come to our church. They study the Word of God and are interested in knowing the Truth. When we recently had a meeting with the brothers to analyze the Word of God, these men also came to the brotherly meeting. We had a wonderful fellowship with questions and answers from the Holy Scriptures. We hope that the Lord will work in their hearts and in their lives.

2. Together with a group of brothers and sisters, we visited the elderly and sick members of our church. We praised God through hymns, prayed together and had wonderful fellowship. They thanked God and rejoiced with us for our group, which brought them the joy of fellowship . They said they felt like they were in our church meeting.

3. One Sunday we had an evangelistic children's ministry in our congregation. Our Sunday school children invited their friends and their classmates where they were introduced to the Word of God about the birth of Jesus Christ the Messiah in their understanding. They had wonderful fellowship with songs, games and lessons from Scriptures. At the end of the meeting, each of them received a Christmas present.

4. Thanksgiving:

-Thank God for the peace we have in our area.

- We thank God for you too, dear brothers and sisters from the USA, who are a great blessing, support, encouragement and help for us.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray, together with us, for those 2 men from Vanchikivtsa who attend our church, that the Lord would test their hearts so that they would repent.

-So that we don't stop praying for peace in Ukraine. Only the Lord can stop this war and this evil. So that a peaceful blessed time will come again in Ukraine.

-Pray for me and my family that the Lord will give us health and encouragement to serve Him.

We thank God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA. We are very grateful for your cooperation, together with us in ministry here in Ukraine, for your financial assistance and encouragement. And we love you and pray for you. We wish the Lord to bless you, encourage you and help you in everyday life.

Chistmas Eve

Dear brothers and sisters of the PIEI organization, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I praise God that through His mercy and grace we have survived until the end of 2022, a year full of problems, war, and experience. But the Lord is merciful and took care of His children every day - Glory to Him for everything!

1. At the beginning of the month, we performed a funeral, where there were many relatives and friends of the deceased, from unbelievers, and who listened attentively to the Word of God. We praise God for the fact that this funeral also served for people to hear the Word, hymns to the glory of the Lord, and we pray for those people, unbelievers who heard the Word, so that the Lord would test their hearts, so that they would repent.

2. This year we celebrated the feast of the Nativity of Christ on December 25th. We had a blessed program in the church where everyone, especially children, youth and our choir, had the opportunity to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ for His birth on our earth, for His love for us, people, to take on all the sins of this world and to save all mankind from destruction and from hell.

-Together with us, almost all the migrants who live in our village came to this holiday, as well as non-believers from the village. We also pray for these people.

3. Our family has prepared gifts for migrants and for those in need from our village. We have prepared packages of groceries and other essentials for these people. They were very happy and praised God for being merciful to them.

4. Thanksgiving:

-We always thank the Lord for you, brothers and sisters from the USA, for the fact that through your help that you give us, you are the cause of many thanks and glorifications for God.

-Thank God for the fact that in our area is still calm and peace is maintained. Thank God that our region is not bombed as enemies in the regions from the South, North and East of Ukraine do. And we can freely proclaim the Word of God to the people.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray, together with us, for those unbelieving people who have heard the Word of God this month.

-Keep praying for the long-awaited peace in Ukraine and the end of the war.

-For me and my family, so that the Lord gives us health, jealousy and love in the service of the Lord.

At the end of this year, we are sincerely grateful to you, our partner from the USA, who serve in the Field of God with us. This year has been a difficult year for us, but you have been a great comfort, encouragement and great support for us. Special thanks to the teams that, led by brother Cornel Stef, had great courage to come to Ukraine in the context of difficulties and war. Thank you for your support, for humanitarian aid, for your prayers and for being with us in these difficult circumstances for us.

Now times have come even more difficult, when we are not given sufficient electricity and heating, but we hope in the Lord that He will continue to take care of us, as He has taken care of us until now.

I, along with my family, wholeheartedly wish you a Happy New Year with many blessings from the Lord.

With love, the Gortopan family.

A national children's meeting

Dear brothers and sisters, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ! I praise God, because even in this difficult, crisis time for us, the Lord is on our side, He is with us and takes care of us every day. Despite the difficult times in our country, there is no electricity 3-4 times a day, but for us it is a blessing that we gather together in the House of God for fellowship and prayer. We appreciate these wonderful moments very much, because many of our brothers and sisters in Christ from our country do not have such an opportunity because of the war.

1. At the beginning of the month of November, our sisters had a conference in Chernivtsi on the topic "Peace in Time of War". Our sisters who were at this conference came encouraged and grateful to God for the wonderful lessons from the Holy Scriptures and for fellowship and prayer. These sisters, who were at the conference, called on our sisters from the church, so that they all together would rally even more to pray for peace in Ukraine - Peace that only the Lord can give.

2. A national children's meeting from Romanian churches was organized in our church. The children were given classes by a well-trained team of leaders from Romania. They had a blessed time, wonderful lessons from the Scriptures, and interesting games.

3. When I have the opportunity, I lovingly help small churches. This month I was at a funeral in the village of Kotilevo, where brother Igor Dzyadik ministers, and there I preached the Word to many unbelieving people.

4. Thanksgiving:

-I thank the Lord for the fact that in our area it is calm and we are protected by God. Therefore, we can also help the migrants who live among us.

-I am very grateful to God that we have you, brothers and sisters from the USA, who are a great support and help for us. Special thanks to Sister Martha Hauck, who was with us this summer, for her financial help. My wife shared this money with our grandson Maxim and with her daughter and son-in-law, whose salaries do not exceed $100 for each. Our whole family wishes Sister Martha blessings from God from the word from 2 Corinthians 9:10-14. We want her to know that she made us want to pray even more for her, for the teams from the USA that visited us this summer and for all our partners to the gospel from the PIEI America mission.

5. Prayer needs:

-Pray, together with us, for our country, which is going through very difficult times.

-Pray for the spiritual growth of our church.

-Pray for me and my family so that the Lord will strengthen us to serve in His Field.

-Thank you, brothers and sisters from the USA, who work with us in God's Vineyard, and who support us financially and are a great blessing to us. May the Lord bless you and take care of you every day of your life.
