PIE meeting

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, we greet you with the love and peace of Jesus Christ.

We are grateful to God for His protection and guardianship every day and every hour. It will be 3 years since February 24th began this full-scale war in Ukraine. This day, February 24th, is recognized as a day of fasting and prayer throughout our country. Only the Lord can help us and the people of God trust in our Lord, where does deliverance come from.

1. Meeting of missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission.

- This Saturday, our missionaries from the PIEI Ukraine mission met in Novoselytsia in the Emmanuel Church, where all the missionaries reported on their service. We rejoice that the Lord blesses the service of our missionary brothers. Although we have different difficulties, in connection with this war, our brothers work with full dedication. 8 people repented, glory to God. They also served the poor and displaced people. They served widows and orphans. We praise God that through such services people can hear about the love of the Lord God for humanity. And of course they praise and thank God for everything that He gives them through God's children.

- We prayed together with the missionary brothers that the Lord would continue to protect us from all evil and that He would bring us the long-awaited peace, God's Peace. Without lies and deceit. That the Lord would give wisdom from Above to the presidents of Ukraine and other countries, so that they would solve these problems of war with wisdom and justice. For the Lord is always just, God is thrice Holy and is the God of Truth and Justice. We all hope in the Lord.

- We also thanked the Lord for all the brothers and sisters from the USA who helped us all these years, so that we would help all the people who were in need.

2. Visits:

- I visited the church from the village of Shcherbintsi, with the brothers from the regional office, where we preached the word of God. We were pleased that there are many teenagers and children in this church. And there is also a sister who constantly studies the Bible with them.

- Also, one woman repented at this service, her name is Alexandra, thank God.

- And there are also three families of immigrants who live in this village in this church. They are very happy that they found refuge here with us, after wandering when they lost their homes because of this war.

- We also visited the church from the village of Podvirne. We preached the Word of God and sang psalms with them, glorifying our Lord. This is a small church, but they were still very happy that we visited them and encouraged them. Two men from the village visit this church and we pray for them to repent.

3. Bible Institute

- At the Bible Institute, we finished studying, together with all the students, the book of the prophet Isaiah, the first part. While studying this book we were greatly encouraged and are waiting for the time when we will study the second part of the book of the prophet Isaiah. May the Lord help us.

4. Thanksgiving:

- We are grateful to God and to you dear brothers and sisters from the PIEI America mission, for your support in prayers and for material support.

- We thank God for His protection and guardianship all these 3 years of war that are going on in Ukraine.

- We thank God for His blessings in our ministry. We sow the Word of God and the Lord blesses the hearts and souls of people to accept the Word inside their hearts, glory to God.

- We are grateful to God that all the churches of Ukraine will pray together to God on February 24, so that the Lord blesses Ukraine. And this day will be a national day of prayer in Ukraine every year. May the Lord hear our prayers and accept our worship to Him forever and ever. Amen.

5. Prayer requests:

- Pray with us that the Lord would give us His Peace and that the war in Ukraine would end. Everything is according to the will of the Lord.

- Pray for the health of all our missionaries, so that they could continue to work in the power of the Holy Spirit.

- Pray for those people who heard the Word of God this month, so that the Holy Spirit would work in their hearts to repent.

- Pray for our young brothers who were taken to war. Even young pastors and preachers were taken and they are now at the training ground. So that the Lord would protect them from all evil.

- Pray for our camp in July-August, so that the Lord would help us with leaders, because now is a very difficult time.

We are very grateful to God for you, brothers and sisters from the USA - our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, for your support in your prayers and for your help in our ministry here. May the Lord bless you abundantly. We also pray for you and wish you that the Lord will give you all health, peace and success spiritual and earthly in your churches, in your families and in your country USA. Please accept heartfelt greetings from our family.

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel and Larisa family.
