1. Repentance and Baptism:
-During the period of 2024, 57 souls repented in the churches of PIEI Ukraine missionaries and 17 of them received holy water baptism.
2. Theological Institute
-Two missionaries from our mission taught students at the Theological Institute. One of them taught a lesson in Missiology, and the other missionary brother taught a lesson in Systematic Theology.
3. Ministry with orphans
-This year, we did 2 large evangelisms with orphans and widows. There were about 400 orphans at these evangelisms. We taught them lessons from the Bible, and also gave gifts to each child. The children were very happy to receive these gifts, because they know and expect that we, missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, will visit them every year, twice a year, and give such gifts. They praise and glorify our Lord for His mercy and kindness to orphans and widows, and we are glad that the Name of Jesus is glorified among orphans and widows. - Also, these 400 orphans are waiting to meet us in 2025. We pray that there will be good weather on these days of meeting with orphans, calmly and peacefully - without enemy missiles.
4. Work among the displaced
- One missionary brother from our mission, together with his team, volunteers from his church, once every 2 weeks bring humanitarian aid to the cities of Ukraine that were destroyed such as Gostomel, Irpen, Borodyanka, Bucha. In Gostomel, Kyiv region, a Christian Church was opened where evangelistic meetings are held and the Word of God is proclaimed. 200-220 people gather there and listen to the Word of God, and then they receive packages with help that our brothers from Chernivtsi brought. We received all this help from the mission PIEI America & misii PIEI Romania, and we are always grateful to God for our brothers overseas who support us and our Ukraine.
- All our other missionary brothers serve and help refugees who live among us, in the Chernivtsi region, in Bukovina.
The missionary brother from Novoselytsia works very well and widely among the refugees. Organizes and evangelizes among them where he preaches and teaches them the Word of God. Praise God, among them there are both repentant and close ones.
5. Ministry among teenagers
- In our mission there is also a missionary brother who works diligently with teenagers of the Novoseletsky district. He regularly organizes meetings for them, preaches the Word of God to them, the leaders prepare various interesting programs for these teenagers. At Christmas and Easter, they prepared gifts for them, there were about 150 teenagers - Praise God!
6. Ministry on the radio program Bukovina
- In our mission PIEI Ukraine there are two missionary brothers who serve and speak on Radio Bukovina. One missionary brother is responsible for these radio programs and at the same time preaches on Radio Bukovina. There are very good reviews from radio listeners - Praise God.
7. Christian camps of the mission PIEI Ukraine
a). Christian camp of the mission PIEI Ukraine Non Stop, "Candela", in Boyany from July 23 to July 27, 2024.
- There were 150 teenagers and children in the camp, 35 of whom repented.
b). Day Christian children's camps:
- Missionaries from the mission PIEI Ukraine organized and conducted in the months of July - August 10 children's Christian day camps in 10 churches where 810 children and teenagers attended these camps for 5 days, each day for 5 hours a day. Half of these children expressed a desire that they want to accept Jesus Christ in their hearts.
8. Ministry with eyepieces
- A team of Bible teachers and one sister from this team came from America and conducted evangelism with eyepieces in 5 villages of the Chernivtsi region. Together with her were teachers who were engaged in spiritual guardianship with these people who received glasses. These evangelisms were attended by about 500 people, of whom 25 people prayed the prayer of repentance.
9. Ministry among sisters
- In our mission, there is one sister who serves among all the sisters of the Novoselytsky district. She participates in organizing sisters' conferences in our district and in the regional ones. She also consults with sisters from our churches on how we can help with food for the soldiers who are defending Ukraine. Our sisters help a lot in this regard. They prepare different food for the soldiers, and volunteers, our brothers, bring them baked bread and meat and various sweet cookies. Glory to God!
10. Prayer requests:
- Brothers and sisters, continue to pray for the end of the war in Ukraine.
- Pray for all 9 of us missionaries and our families, so that the Lord will protect us here from all evil and the blessing of the Lord will be upon us.
- Pray for the action among orphans in 2025, so that the Lord will bless these orphans, so that there will be a peaceful sky above us, so that the Lord will bless our sisters who will prepare food for these children, and most importantly the preachers and leaders who will proclaim the Word of the Gospel among these people.
- Pray for our camp in Boyany, which will be in July, 2025. So that it will also be peaceful and calm and we will be able to preach the Word among children and teenagers. So that we have a good team of leaders and teachers. We hope in the Lord and He will help us in everything.
- Continue to pray for our Chernivtsi region so that we will not be attacked by enemy bombs and missiles in the future.
- Pray for the ministry among the migrants, so that more people would listen and accept Jesus Christ in their hearts.
- Pray for our missionaries so that the Lord would protect them, because we have military posts everywhere in our villages. We are all carefully checked, both cars and documents. And among our missionary brothers there are young brothers. We are also very worried about them. Pray for us all.
