Dear brothers and sisters from the PIEI America mission, we greet you with the love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Another month has passed and the last month of this year has arrived. And by the mercy and grace of our Lord, we were able to serve Him by preaching the Word of God among the people who live among us. Although more than 1000 days have passed since the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, by the grace of God we are still alive and can still serve God in our region, and even volunteer in the regions where the war is going on in Ukraine, bringing food, groceries and other necessary supplies to the soldiers - Glory to God for His protection and safety.
1. Fasting and prayer of our churches
- From the beginning of the month, from November 3 to 10, the churches of our Chernivtsi region took the obligation to fast and pray for peace in Ukraine. Our church had fasting and prayer on November 4. We had meetings on this day and prayed and worshiped God.
Also on this day our sisters had their own meetings and joined the prayers of the sisters of the whole world on the day of fasting and prayer international for all the sisters of the world. Our sisters donated money for the needs which went to Kyiv, for the committee of sisters from the ECB. - And on November 9 our sisters had a regional conference in Chernivtsi on the topic: On the road to heaven. A very relevant topic. How we should make our way, in holiness, despite the various trials and obstacles that are often on our way to heaven. There were many testimonies of sisters displaced from regions where there is a war, as well as our sisters who went through various trials, and how God helped them through all this and win. All the sisters cried together and prayed to God. There were about 800 sisters from our entire region. There was a blessed meeting of sisters, glory to God! 2. Studying the Word of God
- In order to have success in evangelism, first of all I need to study the Word of Scripture to grow in knowledge of the Word.
- This month I studied the Sermon on the Mount of Jesus Christ and 2 Corinthians. After studying these books, I teach them further in other churches and at a meeting with pastors.
3. Working with missionaries
- I taught lessons from 2 Corinthians to pastors who are missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission. At this meeting, each missionary of this mission reported on the work done in 2024. Listening to all our missionaries, I realized that the Lord gives each missionary success in evangelism. Because in our region, Chernivtsi, there are no enemy missiles and we can calmly work and serve God in His Field, Glory to God!
4. Teaching in the church from Nesvoy
- I taught lessons from 2 Corinthians last month in the church of the village of Nesvoy, where they talked a lot about the ministry of Apostle Paul. The whole church wants to follow the example of Apostle Paul in order to have a blessed ministry in the gospel.
5. Ministry in the theological institute
- In the theological institute I taught from the textbook of Revelation 1 "Message to the Seven Churches".
- The students are very pleased with these studies, where they understand that the Lord knows everything about each church and each member of the church.
- Everyone prayed with fear, because the Lord knows all our thoughts, actions and the heart of man and they asked God for forgiveness for everything they did not according to the will of God.
6. Other services
- I was at the funeral of one brother from the church and preached the Word of God. Our choir glorified God through singing. There were about 100 people present at this evangelism who listened attentively to the Word of Scripture. We pray for these people that the Lord will test their hearts for repentance.
- I held the breaking of bread in two churches where they remembered the death and suffering of our Lord Jesus Christ. I also visited 5 sick people at home where I held mini evangelisms in their homes. The sick were glad that they were able to remember the suffering of Christ and take part in this holy communion. I prayed with them and their souls were very encouraged.
7. Thanksgiving:
- We are very grateful to God for your support in prayers and material assistance, our dear brothers and sisters from the USA. Through this help, we can lovingly do God's work in evangelism and helping materially people in need around us.
- We thank you for your prayers.
- We are grateful to God for the peaceful sky over our region. For the fact that there are no enemy missiles, for the fact that there was none of this destruction that was in other regions of Ukraine, and we were able to serve God here in peace.
8. Prayer requests:
- Pray with us for peace in Ukraine and Israel.
- That the Word of God that we have sown this month would bring forth much fruit of repentance among the people who have heard this Word.
- That the Lord would give wisdom to all the presidents so that they would end this war.
- Pray for our missionaries, that the Lord would give them all health and strength to serve God in this difficult time for us. Pray for me and my family, that the Lord would bless us and give us all health and strength to serve God, for only God is worthy of honor, glory and worship forever and ever. Amen!
