Visiting the Sick

Dear brothers and sisters,

I greet you with the peace of the Lord!

I started my ministry by visiting three members of our church who are bound to bed and shared the Communion with them on the first Sunday of February. I also peached them and prayed for them to recover.

I visited the rehab center in the neighboring village, Malinesht and talked to the patients there preaching the Bible and praying for them. There are 12 men at the moment in the center now. We pray for them to be free from drugs and alcohol.

New Generations

I held two baby devotionals of two young families in our church. I am glad that our church is being enlarged with children as they are our future the new generation of the church. I pray for each child and young person of our church to be kept away from the devil and become a good servant of God.

I also held an engagement at our church. Our youth leader, Natasha who is 41 got engaged to a brother in Christ from Romania. She has dedicated herself to the ministry with the youth and God has blessed her abundantly. Her example is a good motivation for the young sisters who are not married yet so as not to be discouraged but to trust in the Lord and God takes care of everybody.

Thank you for supporting me financially and through your prayer. We pray for you as well. May the Lord bless you and reward your sacrifice!

My family is greeting the Stef family and the Dornbos’s.

Love, your brother in Christ, Alexa Paskari

Touching Lives

Dear brothers and sisters,

I greet you with the peace of the Lord Jesus!

The month of January was a month of active work in the Lord's ministry.

I visited the sick of the church and shared Communion with them. I visited a sick man called Toader who is unsaved but who had gangrene. After several visits, talking about the love of God, he repented. We praise the Lord for him! We now pray that the Lord heals him so that he can come to church.

I held a baby’s devotional of a young family’s first child. We enjoy the young families in our church.

On January 7th, our youth went caroling through our village, proclaiming Jesus Messiah who came to us on Earth. Many of those who were invited to church came to the evangelization that was the next day.

Reaching the War Front

Our church has raised some charity aid for the refugees in the war zone of Ukraine. The church in Rakitna and the church No. 2 in Cernauts helped us in this ministry too. Thank you very much to the PIEI mission for sacrificing money for this ministry, especially to Rosema Marilyn and Carl, who helped us in that ministry with money. At the end of January 5th young people from our church, headed by our son Slavic, went in the war zone in Mariinca, Donetsk region and brought the charity. Our brothers in Christ were very pleased with the help they had received and thanked us. Thank you for praying for the 5 young men on the mission. God has guarded them and they have returned safely to their homes.

Christmas At Different Times

On December 25th our youth visited the church in Malinesht village. They celebrate Christmas on December 25th and we went caroling in the village and shared the Good News to all people in Malinesht village.

We are preparing to celebrate Christmas on January 7th as people in our village celebrate it then.  We prepared invitations to our church and Christian calendars to all the people we will visit.

We helped financially a sick woman from our village who needed surgery.

Thank you for the spiritual and financial support. My family is sending you greetings on the occasion of the winter holidays.  May the Lord bless you!

With love, your brother in Christ, Alexa Paskari

Young Families, Young Teachers

Dear brothers and sisters,

I greet you with the peace of the Lord!

On the first Sunday of the month I visited two sick members of our church and shared the Communion with them. Their unsaved relatives could hear the Gospel. We pray for them to repent.

Our choir visited three churches: Dolzhok, Malinesht and Forosna. All these churches are in neighboring villages and are very small so they need to be supported.

The young families gather every week for Bible Study. We are glad for their desire to study the Bible. We pray for all the young families in our church as well for their children who attend Sunday school. We have a new young teacher at Sunday school, Tanya Paskar. She repented at the PIEI youth camp last year and received baptism this year. She is learning a lot from the other two teachers Tamara and Natasha, as she has great zeal in working with children. Besides Bible lessons, they are preparing songs, poems and skits for winter holidays.

We have a joy in our family, our daughter Aliona and her husband Anatoli were blessed with another baby boy, Matheus. Thus, God has blessed us with the 7th grandson. May the Lord bless him!

Thank you for supporting us in the ministry. Please pray for us and for the situation that has been created in our country. We trust the Lord and believe that He can protect us. We pray for you, for your families and your churches. May the Lord bless you with health! My family is sending you lots of warm greetings.

Love, your brother in Christ, Alexa Paskari
