Newborn baby boy Mark

God give you great blessings again! Greetings to you brothers and sisters from PIEI mission. By God’s grace, we are still able to serve the people of Ukraine.

In each family of our church in Hertza somebody serves in army, son, grandson or son-in-law. Our sister Domka lost her grandson Bogdan last year, three children left with mother Nastia. She could not to accept this loss, and almost each day she visits his grave at the cemetery. But recently, she began to prepare his favorite food and bring to his grave to feed him. She has some mental problems and it affected on her health. Some liquid gather inside of her head so she needs to go to the Kyiv and have a surgery on head to remove that liquid.

We had the Thanksgiving Day in our church in Hertza. It was a wonderful holiday when all members praised God for the harvest. After the service we had a good fellowship at the lunch table.

Roman who is refugee from Lugansk region got married to Marina and she gave birth to a son recently. They live very poorly, they rent a flat with one small room. They did not have proper stuff for a newborn baby. So we bought and brought to them an electric kettle, a small bath to wash a baby, towels, a blanket, clothes for a baby, shampoo, powder etc. They were very grateful to get all that stuff to care for a baby. Roma had no car to take Marina home from maternity hospital with a baby. So I with my wife Nadia meet Marina at maternity hospital and brought them home. Roma was very happy to see his son Mark for the first time. Then my wife Nadia washed a baby and showed Marina how to do that next time.

So, thanks for your donation for helping such families. You are our coworker in ministry here in Ukraine.

With prayers for you, the missionary in Hertza and Chernivtsi Alex Pastushak
