Greetings to all of you who love Jesus and serve Him with a great diligence! May God bless you with everything you need!
During this month, we saw God’s grace and mercy to us and in our ministry.
Sister’s Irina son Vasiliy had come from the war for a while. She was so happy to see him alive and in good condition. Because many mothers meet dead bodies of their sons. Each service we pray for soldiers and for Vasiliy as well, so thank God that He saved him. Also, we pray for his salvation. When he was young, he attended the church and sang psalms to God. But when got older he moved to Chernivtsi city to study in university and found bad company that spoiled him. So now he came to visit relatives and then return to the front line.
My wife Nadia held a teen girls meeting. There are genuine girls that want to grow spiritually and have good fellowship.
We had two meetings with widows and parents of fallen soldiers in district Sadgora and Kadubivtsi village. It was the special ministry when I needed to rely on Holly Spirit to tell correct words that encourage them but not hurt them. I shared the story of Jesus and disciples in a boat in the midst of Galilee Sea when the storm got started. Then Jesus woke up and commanded the wind and waves to stop, and the storm calmed down. I inspired them to rely on Jesus and address to him in any storm of life, because only has a power over storms. Also, I shared our story, how we lost a son and buried him.
Our church in Chernivtsi has a good ministry of visiting wounded soldiers in military hospital. Our sisters prepare food and grocery for them, and brothers talk with them and share the Gospel.
Thanks to all of you for your donations and prayer for us. May God uses the time of war for His glory and extent of the church.
With prayers for you, the missionary in Hertza and Chernivtsi, Alex Pastushak.
