Service in God's Grace

This month, no matter how briefly I try to describe it, I cannot fully convey all the events that have taken place so far. To be clearer, Brother Timotei brought a team of 10 young people from Germany to the area where I am a missionary to do practical mission work. What does it mean to do mission work on the field? We went to widows, orphans, and very poor families, cutting wood with chainsaws, splitting it with axes, stacking it, cutting grass, painting with paint bought by Brother Timotei, both inside and on fences, etc. What I want to say is that in the five villages they visited, they gave a testimony that cannot be described. The villagers saw a group of young people speaking a different language, enduring unbearable heat, committed to helping poor widows who couldn't do the work themselves. Besides the voluntary work, each widow received groceries worth 50 euros. This action by Brother Timotei was a great service to me, raising my standing in the eyes of the villagers where I am a missionary.

Another blessing was when Brother David and his wife Carol came for four days to hold seminars on a very delicate subject: ANGER. Each time, about 40 people attended, and to be brief, it was a great BLESSING. At the orphanage, both the girls and Carol had a hard time parting. Among other things, the girls at the orphanage said they keep in touch with Sister Gabi Ștef and consider her like a mother who loves them. They received many memorable gifts from both Sister Gabi Ștef and the sisters from the church where Sister Gabi and Brother Cornel Ștef attend. Along with David and his wife, we had Brother Costel, who translated for us and accompanied us both to the orphanage and the churches. They were all a great blessing, and we pray that the Lord Jesus will reward them.

We traveled to the center in Alba Iulia, where a large number of American brothers and sisters were present, and we had sweet fellowship. To sum it up, we were spoiled with fellowship in the Word of God and with exquisite foods, making us feel like princes. We spent the last day together in Negrilești, in a pleasant atmosphere surrounded by a dreamlike landscape, making it hard to leave those places. It's easy to understand why Peter told the Lord Jesus on the mountain, "It is good for us to be here." I mentioned from the beginning that this update is different due to the many events that have taken place this month. The mastermind behind all these events was Brother Cornel Ștef, along with the team, including those in the kitchen, Maik, Alis, and Violeta Ștef, who worked enormously. May the Lord Jesus reward them. We cannot forget the national director of PIEI, Brother Timotei, Jenu Ștef, and others.

In this update, I would like to mention families I bring before the Throne of Grace: the family of Ed and Daiana, the family of Matei Scheau and Sister Naomi, who sent me medicine, also Sister Rodica and Brother Alex, who sent medicine for my wife, Sister Mărioara Barac and her daughter Gabriela. Along with our thanks, we assure you that we pray for you every evening. May the Lord Jesus reward you and bless your entire household. Amen! I conclude with a fitting verse: Revelation 22:12, "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Amen. In the grace of God.
