Mike And Alysa Dima

My name is Mihai “Mike” Cornel Dima and I was born in the beautiful town of Alba Iulia, located in Alba County-Romania. I am married with Alysa Abigail Dima and God has blessed us with two wonderful kids: Michael Cristopher 17 and Anna-Abigail 14 yrs old. At the moment I am working in an auto repair shop and also am the secretary of Partners in Evangelism International Romania. I am a member of “Flacara Inchinarii Church” ( The Flame of Worship Church ) in our local town.

I was born into an orthodox family, but came to know Christ when I was at the age of 10 when I was introduced to the evangelical Christian life. Ever since, I have been involved in all church activities like summer camps, Sunday school, and translating for short term mission teams that would come to our church. I completely surrendered my life to Christ when I was 20 years old, and that’s when I also got baptized. A year later, at the of 21 I got married to my wife Alysa.

Ever since I got married, my father in law Jenu Stef introduced me to the organization, and I have been involved in PIEI ministries for more than 20 years now while also working at his auto repairs shop. I the last 5 years, I have been increasingly involved with PIEI and right now I am on a course of transition from part time working for PIEI to full time working for PIEI along with my wife who has a serving heart which is a gift from God. I love to serve God by serving people in the community and just getting involved. Since 2020, when my life and activity got more and more intense with PIEI, me and my wife Alysa have been serving to families of refugees from Ukraine as they had to flee the home country and came into Romania. We’ve had an intense 6 – 9 months of serving along side these families who needed to be taken care of, considering the fact that they were coming from the conflict zone. We’ve got to know them and serve them according to their needs.

We have 3 – 4 annual meetings with our nationals , meetings prepared by my wife ( when it comes about housing and meals ) and me when I comes about warming the place, preparing materials for the 2/3 days meetings and other logistic matters. As family we’ve got involved in putting together donations for the families in Ukraine and doing the transportation to a location in Ukraine. We are present in every activity PIEI has in Romania, Ukraine and wherever there is a need.

We are so thankful for a community like PIEI and also grateful for people who love, believe and support PIEI ministries.

I believe and I have seen the difference it makes when everyone with it’s gifts comes together in unity for one purpose, and that purpose is that we labor together and make disciples, here and everywhere, and that the Kingdom of God may be enlarged.
