Happy Easter

Dear brothers and sisters from the USA, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, we greet you with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On behalf of all our nine missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission, we congratulate you all on the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! We wish you all abundant blessings from the Lord and that all your churches grow more and more in the love of Christ, in the Holy Truth, so that your churches continue to bear blessed fruits in God's Vineyard. The Lord expects this from all of us.

We are always glad to hear such wonderful news about you about your ministry with the youth, with teenagers and with children. We pray that these Easter evangelisms will be blessed by God both in your churches, where you are members, and in our churches in Ukraine.

We thank your churches for supporting our missionaries of the PIEI Ukraine mission in your prayers and financially. This helps us a lot to serve here in Ukraine. Although we do not yet know when this war in Ukraine will end, we believe that with God's help this terrible war in Ukraine will end. Thank God that in the Chernivtsi region, where we live, enemy missiles do not fly to us, as in other regions of Ukraine. And we can serve here peacefully in our churches, to the needy displaced people who live near us. We organize meetings for them where we preach the Gospel to them, and also help with food. The displaced people are very happy that the children of God are helping them. They are having a very hard time. They left their homes and came to us to seek refuge. Therefore, we help them. And they praise God Almighty. Many of these people have repented and have already been baptized during these 3 years of war - Glory to God.

2. Weddings

- We thank God for the opportunity to be with my wife at the wedding of Gloria and Daniil. Gloria is the youngest daughter of our missionary Grigory Kioresko. The wedding was in Romania, in Radauti. I also preached at this wedding and gave the young people wise advice from the Holy Scripture. We also had the joy of meeting our children at this wedding with Andrei and Rebeka, and grandchildren Mark and Emima. We had not seen Andrei for almost 4 years. Therefore, we were very happy that the Lord provided us with such a pleasant meeting - Glory to God.

3. Preparations for Easter

- Our youth, children and choir are preparing to conduct evangelism for the Easter holiday, which will be on April 20. These evangelisms will take place both in our church and in neighboring churches, where there are few church members. But our church always helps neighboring churches from Balkovtsy and Podvirnoe. We pray that the Lord blesses the Holy Word, so that people who hear the Word will know our Lord.

4. Prayer requests:

-We would like to offer you several prayer requests so that you continue to pray for us:

-Pray with us for this war in Ukraine to end.

-Pray that enemy missiles do not land in our region or in any region of Ukraine. There are many fatal victims among the peaceful inhabitants of Ukraine.

-Pray for the leaders of all countries and our country, that the Lord would give all presidents wisdom to lead, that true and stable peace would come to Ukraine.

-Continue to pray for the ministry of our missionaries here where we serve:

a). among the displaced, that more of them would know the love of Christ and repent.

b). We will hold an event for widows and orphans on May 17. We invited 200 orphans on this day so that we could feed them delicious food all day long and also preach the Gospel to them. Our leaders have prepared various games with prizes for them. Pray for a peaceful sky, without enemy missiles, so that we can calmly spend this day serving these orphans.

c). From July 21 to July 26, we will hold a Christian teenage camp Non Stop in Boyany. Many of the children of displaced persons will rest there. Pray for this camp, for the leaders, for the teachers, and for a peaceful sky again, without enemy missiles. Pray also for a group of teachers from the USA who will come to serve us in this camp, together with brother Cornel Stef, president of misiunii PIEI. May the Lord protect everyone from all evil.

- Pray for our volunteer brothers who go to the front line and bring the soldiers who defend Ukraine, prepared food, drinking water and everything else they need. May the Lord save the lives of the volunteers, because it is dangerous to go there because of frequent bombings.

- Pray also for the day children's camps that our churches will hold this summer. May the Lord bless these ministries.

We also pray for you brothers and sisters, our partners in evangelism here in Ukraine, and we love you.

We bless you and once again congratulate you on the holiday of the Resurrection of Christ!

With love to you, the Petikhachnyy Pavel and Larisa family.
