I am Hennie Van Den from Springville, Pennsylvania, visiting SIMONS Ministry in India.

I arrived in Cochin, Kerala, India on September 24th Saturday morning 2.55am. Shibu and his cousin picked me up. After about 3 hours driving mostly on bumpy roads we arrived at the ministry and Shibu's house. Julie met me and I went straight to bed and slept for hours. Then we had lunch together and we talked and unpacked all the supplies I had brought. It is very hot here. I have now come down stairs but the house is quiet giving me a chance to write this down. Shibu and Julie already have a plan for my stay here. Since I'm not here very long, it is basically meeting the people here that work in the ministry, and going to church tomorrow (Sunday). They asked me to give my testimony etc.

September24th Saturday evening I met Shibu's mother Annamma and grandmother. I didn't know that she was still alive. I mean his grandmother. Shibu's mom is such a nice lady. She told me the history about the ministry, how her father in law had started it.
